1. billie eilish singing life is highkey better than her recorded music
i don't think i dived deep into the pond of ever being a stan of billie, and my little sister is absolutely obsessed with her so i'm kind of tired of her, not because she isn't amazing, but i've just heard her too often. that being said, billie live is actually incredible. she's got such a versatile voice that we all gotta appreciate right now.
2. sweetner > thank u, next
if yall don't know yet, i am a huge ariana stan, i love her music, her voice is literally the one of a goddess, and she's so musically talented. that being said, I enjoyed all of the songs from sweetner more so than i did from thank u next. a lot of the music from thank u, next, was so over hyped up, like the title track, and 7 rings, but even songs that weren't as hyped up, weren't as good. however, i will say, in my head, and bloodline are two of my favorite songs from the album. but something about sweetner just sat well with me. also her aesthetic for that entire album was to die for.
3. deepika is okay as an actress, but is incredible with challenging herself
don't get me wrong, i don't think deepika is a bad actress, it's just that i've just not really liked her acting much recently, and that's probably because she's only worked with slb for the past few years and i haven't seen her versatile self in a hot minute. that being said, she's absolutely mindblowing in the way she commits to a challenging character, like veronica from cocktail, or tara from tamasha. deepika is constantly perceived as this goodie-two-shoes, and by doing such versatile roles, it just showcases what an incredible artist she is, and we got to give her a hecka lot more credit for how she challenges herself and works with a character.
4. kajol is king of irritating as an actress
i know i'm going to get a hecka amount of shade for this opinion, and i'm sorry if yall don't like it, but i'm just trying to be as honest as possible. yes, ddlj and kkhh, kkkg are cult classics, we love seeing srk and kajol on screen because they've made our childhood. however, i've just never loved kajol's acting on screen, considering the fact that she's constantly type casted as this loud mouth village girl without manners, which is something i feel like she should move away from, because she's got talented, and by channeling it into roles like MNIK and Faana, she'll get even better.
