Percy - First Meeting

Percy X Apollo Reader

Your day had gone from hectic to utter hell. You had been expelled again from school and were now being escorted off the school premises  by the principal. You had been called delusional by your regular ol' school bully - Ryan.

*Flashback*

"Oi, oi (y/n), have you seen anymore faces in the wind? Oh wait have you checked the bushes for giant dogs with red eyes?"

He pushed to see what you would do and how you would react. You were fine with this sort of thing, it was mentioned everyday. But then he took it to far.

Ryan snickered to his friend after whispering in his ear, "(y/n) maybe that's why your so unwanted, your parents didn't want a child who can't cope with the truth of real life!"

You whipped around dropping the books you were carrying and beat the absolute crap out of him. He was rolling on the floor crying with a bloody nose and dislocated shoulder.

You stormed off only to be pulled out of lesson later by an angry principal.

*End of flashback*

You have had enough with everyone so you would now easily settle for living in your head with you, your memories and thoughts.

It sounded sad but you had thought this school was going to be perfect but now you had to go back to your so called 'home' that you had lived in for most of your short lived life. You wanted more than this it was boring and dull.

Your anxiety grew as you arrived at your foster home door, you entered without a sound and made it to the not so grand staircase before being turned around by Matt, your foster dad.

He was angry. Not angry but fuming if he were a kettle there would be smoke coming out his ears right now. He called to Janet your foster mom who came in and immediately began to yell at you it want on the basis of 'they hate you and it's annoying the amount of schools that they have had to find for you and how this was the last straw'.

All you saw was Matt unbuckling his belt and him moving towards you. He held up your tshirt and wipped the belt across your back, it stung and brought tears to your eyes. He continued until your back was raw and bleeding. You begged him, "please stop, please this isn't fair you can't do this!"

All he replied with was a cold but simple as he continued "you should have behaved then kid there is no wonder you're here you are clearly a hassle that your parents didn't have the time for."

That brought your mental walls crashing down and mad you question 'did your parents really not want you?'

You collapsed sobbing on the floor, a mess of blood, cuts and tears. You passed out from pain letting the whole world ebb away.

- time skip brought to you by the dam snackbar -

The doorbell rang and you awoke in your room stiff and extremely sore, your eyes were puffy and your throat raw from crying. You fixed yourself up with badly done bandages and a cold shower.

Matt yelled for you to come down, "pack your stuff kid your going to a special wilderness school far away from me and Janet." You nodded mutely and went to collect the minimal belongings that you owned.

The next thing you knew you were sat shotgun next to a beefy man who carried a baseball bat. "Call me coach Hedge I was called to come collect you by Chiron since your school didn't have any satyrs. Your mind was blown until he explained about camp halfblood and that you were a half god and half mortal.

He dropped you out of his van at the entrance to a woods saying "be careful kid and fast the border is by a pine tree you shouldn't miss it, it's guarded by a dragon!"

You nodded thanks and made the trek with your only guide being the large pine that towered over the rest of the trees. You made it within feet of the border before some strange snake ladies stopped you.

They called themselves empusai and scraped their talons down your arms earning a scream that escaped your lips.

A boy around your age with jet black hair and sea green eyes kept through the border with a glowing bronze sword. He didn't seem fazed by them turning all but one into dust she held you by the throat and in an instant the boy vapourised the lady leaving you dizzy and disorientated.

He approached you slowly, "Hey I'm Percy, did coach Hedge send you?" You nodded and clung to him for support that your legs couldn't actually work. "So your (y/n) who the Oracle has spoken of!" You nodded in partial understanding as your world spun at hundreds of miles an hour.

He noticed your eyes drooping and scooped you up like a rag doll running through the border and yelling 'Will'. "Don't close your eyes stay with me I can't loose you too!" The words choked in his throat as he placed yo onto a white hospital bed. A boy in blue scrubs ran in and started taking vital. Both of the boy's looked up to see you finally losing hold and passing out leaving both panicked and anxious to whether you would heal enough for tomorrow morning.
