Part 7 - Betrayed but Loved?

~*Lunae's POV*~

I slowly opened my eyes. I looked at my body full of cuts, scratches and bruises. It hurt so much as to even blink.

I forced myself to sit up. I found myself in a room all alone on the floor. I looked around exhaustively wondering where my friends were. I needed to get back on my feet again. "Is this real?....Is this pretend?" I asked myself aloud.

"It's real alright," someone said. I turned to see in irony Sasori! "Huh, Sasori?!," I said surprised. "I'm sorry it had to lead to this," he apologized to me.

"Where am I am where are my friends?!!!" The pain came back.

Sasori had a plain face and said, "In the other rooms."

I tried to get up but Sasori wouldn't allow me to. "You should really get some rest," he told me. "I don't need to rest I need to check if they're ok," I yelled.

I didn't care how much the pain hurt me and I got up and went to look for my friends. Sasori sat there in the room with a face that thought I defeated him.

I went down the hallways when I found a room with them with some other girl. I looked at their injuries. They were pretty bad but not as badly as mine luckily.

I sat there for either one of them to wake up.

~* Unknown Girl's POV*~

I woke up and saw some other girls with me. I looked across the room with a girl with jet black straight hair and Sapphire eyes.

"Who are you," I said weakly.

She looked up and said," Lunae, you?"

"Alice. Do you know why we're here," I asked.

She grinned and replied to me, " I honestly don't know why. Luckily you and my friends are not badly injured."

I looked at her arms and saw just too many injuries on her. Her clothes were a little torn and you can tell she was tired. She had a little bit of blood smeared across the side of her face and mouth.

There was silence in the room until one of the girls woke up.

~*Lupin's POV*~

I woke up hurting. I saw Lunae and some other girl awake. "Huh, what happened?"

"We were kidnapped if can see,"Lunae said with sarcasm.

"Who is she," I asked.

"Oh, I'm Alice," the girl told me.

I shook Miki to make sure she was still alive. A few seconds passed and she opened her eyes to see us in our condition right now.

Her eyes widened and she started to breathe heavily and cough. "It's ok you're fine," I said.

~*Miki's POV*~

I opened my eyes slowly and I coughed and heavily took in air. Lupin told me it was ok and I stopped.

"Now what happened to you Miki ," Lunae asked me.

I stared at her injuries they were pretty bad but were cleaned. "Something hit me and everything started hurting all over my body. That's all I remember."

"Hmm...but what does this have to do with us," Lunae said. We then heard footsteps at the door. We saw Sasori, Deidara, and a man with a swirly mask.

"This has to do with you because the four of you have something we need," said the person with the mask.

I recognized that voice and immediately yelled, "Tobi!"

"I thought you wouldn't recognize me," Tobi said.

"What do we possess that you need so badly," Lunae questioned them.

Sasori replied,"You all possess a unique power that will only happen in a dire situation."

Lunae exclaimed, "So why didn't it happen when I was being attacked by you hypocrites!"

"We knocked you out before the power started to happen," Tobi explained.

"Hmmph," she mumbled.

"Let me explain.....Lupin has a power of speed, Alice has the power of mind~reading, Miki has invisibility/ camouflage, and Lunae has power of shaping water to anything she desires," Deidara said thoroughly.

All four of us were in shock. How can we have this type of power and not know of it. I glanced at my friends and back to them.

Tobi said, " Each of you will be paired off with one of us." "Lupin is with Deidara, Lunae is with Sasori, Miki with me, and Alice with...Pain."

We all had a face that we couldn't believe what was going on. Our lives were changing in a second.

We all went with our assigned partners. I wonder what will become of us after.

~*Lunae's POV*~

I went outside with Sasori. I looked back at the house and recognized that it wasn't mine.

I followed him to an area that looked like a park. "You will start learning how to use that special power of yours under my supervision," Sasori told me.

"First I will makesome smallattacks on you but you will have to dodge them," Sasori said, " I will not hesitate.

"Bring it on, if I survived the attack yesterday I can handle this one!" I exclaimed and smiled.

He grinned and move his fingers. Out of nowhere two puppets came out from behind him. One had blades on its arms and the other dropped its mouth.

The one with blades came right at me. I moved to the side and dodged it. The other had sharp blades coming out of its mouth.

I moved swiftly between them. A couple might have cut me but I didn't care.

As soon it was over, Sasori was impressed. I could tell by the look on his face.

We continue with harder drills. At first I thought this was too dangerous for us to handle but now it was kinda fun.

Sasori continued on until it was 8:00am. We went back in the house.

He showed me my room I was going to stay in.

"Well , umm.. here it is," Sasori stuttered. "Thanks," I said.

"There's...there's something I've been meaning to give you..," he told me. "Really? What is it."

As I approached him, he held my chin and crashed his lips against mine. He closed his eyes but mine widened.

As we moved apart I stood there red as a rose. I was too speechless to say anything.

Sasori said, "We'll train more at 10:00am."As he left my room blushing the same way as I was. Now I know I experienced Love.
