Part 8 - Power is All

~*Miki's POV*~

I was under a tree, watching the sky. Tobi walked up to me. "Confusing stars for satellites?" he asked me.

"Nope, shouldn't you be training me or something?"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Thanks for reminding me Miki!" Tobi thanked me.

I glanced at him and back to the sky. I wondered what Lunae and Lupin were doing.

"Well let's get training shall we?" "Fine." I said. We got up and went to the training ground and saw Deidara and Lupin there.

~*Deidara's POV*~

We went to the training ground before Tobi and Miki came. I tried making Lupin's power happen when I chased her on my bird throwing just little clay bombs at her.

She ran alright but her power wasn't activating. I jumped off my clay bird and walked past her to Tobi.

I whispered to him, "What about her, her powers won't work?"

"Just give it some time Deidara Sempai. You should just train her to attack first with swords," Tobi told me.

"Wait! But why did Sasori train Lunae so fast. He went to more complex attacks." I told him.

"Because, Lunae is more skilled. She already worked with swords and needs harder things. Your partner is new to all this training like mine. Just go with it ok?"

I grunted at him and went back to Lupin. "Come on we're going to work with swords right now."

She followed me quietly. At least I had a partner who did complain alot. "Umm...so are we kinda working with swords now right?"she asked me. "Yes if you heard me clearly," I said.

"Well at least I'm not the one who argues alot about his partner."she told straight at me. I went back into the house and went to Kisame's room. He had a bunch of swords I figure that he would let me borrow a couple.

I grabbed them and told Lupin to choose one. She looked intently at them and choosed the sword with a thin look.

I decided to use my clay as my weapon. "Hold the sword like this."I told her. "Now swing it at the tree."

She swung it the wrong way but she still struck it pretty hard. I tried to help her but she was kinda stubborn. But I had to get used to this anyway, she's my partner for now.

~*Miki's POV*~

Tobi asked me if I had any special talent. I said,"Drawing, teasing, writing and hiding."

"Good because you will use your talent of hiding from me." Tobi said. "So go and hide wherever you wish but you can't let me find you."

He turned and shut his eyes. I ran into the tree tops and jumped from one to another. "Found you."

I looked around and didn't see him. And jumped down and went behind a tree trunk. "Come on, I know you can do better." he said.

I turned around and he was right behind me.He put his arm on the tree trunk right next to me. "I thought you were good at hiding?"he whispered in my ear.

I pushed him away and ran farther leaving him there. I started blushing and I looked at my hands. They were fading! I went to the tree tops again andone arm already disappeared.

I watched in amazement as I was completey fading away. In a couple of seconds I was gone.

"Miki!! Where are you?" Tobi said aloud.

"I'm here!" I said. He turned but didn't see me.I started to tease him until his eye turned red.

I didn't know why it turned red but I didn't care. I kept running on the tree tops having fun. I started noticing that Tobi was on my trail.

He landed right in front of me and I tried staying as quiet as I could for him to not notice me.

"I can see you Miki. I see that you made your power work."he told me as if he was proud. He leaned to me and kissed me on my lips.

I started to be visible again. I quickly pulled away from him and became invisible again. I ran to the house looking for Lunae. I was a bit angered at what Tobi did but I was mostly love struck.

I was blushing like crazy and hope Lunae didn't ask me what happened. I also wanted to tell her about my power I had.
