"Patrick please I don't want to go all by myself to that...that place." Ainsley pleaded Patrick as he was walking away from her. "I don't know what to do or say or-" "Shut up." Ainsley stumbled back as she bumped into him, because he stopped. "Ecxuse me?" "Shut up." he repeated himself. "Just shut up." "You have no right to tell me to shut up." She answered roughly. "If I tell you to shut up that means shut up." Patrick began to lose temper. "And if I tell you to do something that means you fucking do it." "Well I do not want to do it." She smirked. "What are you going to do about that?" "I might as well have to banish you." He flatly answered pointing towards the dark empty street which lead into the abandoned city. "Who knows how the banished ones survive...some get taken in by the Outsiders but that's just pure luck." Just taking a glance at the empty street sent shivers down her spine, she shakily sighed. "What happens if they don't get taken in by the Outsiders?" Patrick gave her a glance from the corner of the eye. "In some time they die due to the lack of water and food...some just disappear as if they had found a way out of the maze like city even so that is pretty much a myth." Ainsley opened her mouth to speak but he cut her off. "And I do not believe in it because it is just a fake tale." "But do you ever wonder what shines at the end of the street?" she asked calmly. "It looks like a way out." "That is just broken glass reflecting the sunlight." He said deeply sighing. "If it wasn't for the sun you would see that it is just another abandoned building there...just like all the others." Ainsley brushed the hair out of her face, "But how did you even get here in the first place then?" Patrick looked at her, to her surprise his always harsh gaze was a bit softer this time. "It is a long story...but all I can say is that us and some of the Outsiders used to be one big group until the day there was an accident and most of them took the other side." "What was the accident?" "I would rather not say...but it is one of the reasons some of them hate me."
