"Come on Delirious!" Evan yelled over his shoulder at him. "Atleast try to keep up with us!" Delirious kicked away the pieces of wood and rocks laying around in his way as he slowly walked after the three males. "I don't want to keep up." he muttered under his breath. "I hate the way you reacted to Ainsley...you should really start listening to other people Evan you should atleast try to accept their opinions at times." Evan huffed but didn't say anything to him only kept on walking down the dusty trail leading to the city. "He doesn't really want to return to the topic..." remarked Andy slowing down his pace to match Delirious. "Evan is pretty bipolar about the things that include his anger issues." "As if I didn't know." he hissed a little. "I have been his best friend since forever but now it seems like he is ignoring me all the time...and mostly focusing on being treated with high respect from the group members." "That's his job...he fights to keep others alive." Andy answered. "I remember when he broke his fucking arm and didn't want to let the night patrol to leave without him." Andy sligtly chuckled. "That male is stubborn as hell when it comes to not being able to control someone or lead a group to somewhere...he always has to be the first one." "Why didn't Patrick just give him the deputy rank then?" "Evan may be strong and good at fighting but he doesn't have the logic and how do you say clever mind Gerard has...by that I do not mean he is stupid I am just saying he sometimes doesn't think things through before doing them." Delirious quickened his pace a little and pushed past Andy to be a bit in front of him. Evan stopped in his tracks, looking down from the small hill and unto the almost washed away trail which lead into the city. "Can you taste the smoke in the air?" he asked gloomly as Delirious caught up with him. "I wonder where it's coming from..." The white haired male gave him a quick look. "Maybe we shouldn't." he suggested. "I would much preffer heading along the side of the city instead of going in." "I am the leader here Delirious." snarled Evan. "I am in charge of what we do or not." "Bu-" "Are you afraid Delirious?" The tall strong male looked down at him as he was quite short with his dark whisky eyes. "Are you afraid of what awaits there?" Delirious followed his gaze into the foggy depth of the abandoned buildings and streets. "Is fear the only thing you can feel when looking into there?" "Yes...I am afraid because I do not want to die like this." Evan blinked slowly thinking on what he had said to him. "Then why become a fighter when you are scared as a sheep?"
