Brunei's Pov

I sat in class. The teacher was late while the class was filled. I saw Philip at the other side of the classroom drawing and minding her own business. I turned to look at my partner who seemed somewhat deep in thought.

"Hi North Korea..."

He blinked and looked at me. I felt a little awkward when he didn't reply. When I looked away, I heard him sigh.

  "Hello, Brunei."

I glanced at him and saw a grin on his face. Honestly, it looked pretty fake to me but I smiled back and we began chatting until our teacher walked in. I looked at my time table which I received last Friday, I was in all of North's classes except for one on Mondays.

The first lesson wasn't so bad, I kept up with the lesson while whispering to North. We wrote notes on our worksheets with a pencil for each other to see before erasing it as well.

We were released a bit earlier for recess, North, Russia and Ame invited me to follow them which I did. I saw Philip hanging out with Finland and another country that I didn't recognise. The cafeteria slowly filled up, especially after the bell rang. I spent the first fifteen minutes with the group before heading up to the library with North since I didn't know where it was located at.

I thought that North might head to back to America and Russia but he decided to go into the library with me. I shrugged and went in first. I gave the librarian a nod as I mumbled a greeting to her. I first saw that there was a clear space in the middle which was filled with tables. Around the tables were the bookshelves. The tables were empty, some chairs weren't pushed in.

North and I went to the fiction aisle, around the library were also some stools along the walls. There was a small pile of books on one of the stool. I walked around while I continued to search around for any interesting books. North said he would go to the non-fiction aisle. I nodded as I read the blurb on the back of a book. After a while, I couldn't find anything nice so I went to the tables thinking North might be there but it was still empty.

I went to the non-fiction aisle, still empty? I saw another pile of books on the floor near the wall. The book on top was about history. I walked over to see someone resting against the wall, someone else with her.

"Uh, North?"

"Oh uh, Brunei...!" He glanced at me while I gave him a puzzled look.

"What are you...?"

"Uh, I can explain," North replied awkwardly, I could see his face turned a bit red.

Just then, the other country next to North shifted and looked around. She was pretty confused. I heard shuffling behind me and turned around to see North's brother with a book in his hand.

"Oh hi Brunei," South greeted as he walked over to North.

"North-!"

I glanced at Singa who shot up in surprise when she saw North next to her. North Korea didn't say anything, he stood up and looked over at me, speaking with body language. I nodded to Singa and followed North out of the library and back to class.
