Celia couldn't recall the last time Dr. Saltzman talked to the school as a whole as many times as he had in these past few months. To be fair, these past few months have been like no other.

That day's bi-daily meeting was about the formation of a honor council. One witch, one vampire, and one werewolf—all elected by their peers. Not that Celia cared too much about it, she already knew she would be voting for her alpha, Jed. Besides, it was so much more fun to think of all of the things she could tell Maddie when she found her. All she needed was a witch to perform the spell.

The minute Dr. Saltzman dismissed them, Celia made a beeline for Josie. Other than Hope, Josie was the only witch Celia had said more than "hi" to, and when it came to the two of them Celia felt that her interactions with Josie were more civil.

She saw the brunette walking away with Lizzie. Celia bit her lip before deciding to barge in on their conversation. "Josie!" She called out, causing both twins to turn abruptly toward her.

Josie dismissed herself from Lizzie, before walking toward Celia. The witch didn't bother to hide the confusion and curiosity that filled her wide eyes.

"What's up?"

"I was wondering if I could swing by your dorm later? I have some questions about something." Celia really didn't know how to go about the topic. She knew there were certain rules the witches had to follow. Were they even allowed to do magic outside of class?

"Uh, yeah sure. Just let me know when you need to come by."

Celia nodded, determined to elaborate, but before she could shouting started to occur behind her.

"CELIA!" A big voice boomed. A big voice that belonged to someone she had seen less than twelve hours prior. Internally she groaned, didn't he know what she was trying to do? But still, she could never be too disappointed to see Jed.

The alpha bounded forward his posse close behind. Drunkly, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, even though she knew he was completely sober. "Ready for your weekly ass kicking?"

Celia raised her eyebrow in his direction. "Actually, Jed, I was in the middle of something so if we could postpone my ass kicking for a few minutes..." Celia's voice trailed off when she turned back around to see the witch no where in sight. Letting out a sigh, she turned back to the pack. "Bring it on."

The match started like it usually did. Celia gave him a fight, but always let him be a step ahead. They bickered. And when push came to shove, eventually she planned on letting him win.

Until she decided not to.

A strange urge came over her as they sparred. She wanted to really show him what she could do.

And so she did.

She blocked his first punch with ease. She knew his motions like the back of her own hand. He would swing a punch and she'd duck down and swipe out her leg, knocking him off balance. He'd lunge for her and she'd swat him to the side. It was the same game they played every week, except this time she wouldn't use anticipating his moves in his favor.

"Dang Celia," Jed panted, studying all of her movements. "Either I'm having an off week or you've seriously stepped up your game."

"It's not hard to step up my game when it's the same game every week."

Jed feigned a hurt expression, almost as if she stabbed him in the heart. "Ouch, C. That hurts."

Celia rolled her eyes, lunging at his feet and tucking and rolling when he reached to pin her.

"What are we even fighting over?" She asked, rising back to her feet.

"Doesn't matter to me I've already gotten everything I've always wanted."
