Lydia woke up after a dreadfully long night by her phone ringing on her bedside table. With a groan, she rubbed her eyes and saw 'My Hybrid <3'' flash on her screen.
"What do you want, Nik? I'm tired." Lydia said sitting up in her bed.
"And here I was thinking you'd be delighted to hear my voice first thing in the morning." Nik teased and Lydia could tell he was smirking. "Did the Scooby Gang give you and Caroline an earful like you thought?"
"Oh yeah." Lydia sighed.
You see, when the redhead went to the Mikaelson Manor and she ran into Elijah and Rebekah, she told them what they had to do to make her plan successful. She cast a spell on Elena, putting her into a deep sleep and cloaked her so Bonnie wouldn't be able to track her. Then she told Elijah to tell the Salvatore's that if they didn't break the Bennett line somehow, he was going to have Rebekah kill Elena. Of course, Lydia would never let anything happen to her, no matter what she was still her sister.
However, the Scooby Gang wasn't happy. Elena was angry that Lydia would do something like this to her and they were all angry at Caroline after Damon told them she helped the Mikaelsons.
"They weren't happy about my little plan but it's not like I was expecting them to be." Lydia sighed, getting out of bed.
The red-haired girl put Nik on speaker and put her phone on her desk before walking over to her wardrobe to pick out some clothes for the day.
"How's having your family back together? As good as you'd imagined?" Lydia asked.
"Even better." Nik smiled through the phone.
"I'm glad. When I come over later after my run, I'm going to start sketching Sage for my guys so they can start looking for her."
"Alright then, will they be coming to Mystic Falls? I rather miss your odd bunch of friends." Klaus said.
"I don't think so, they're very busy but we'll see if Lexi, Alex and Penny want to come over." Lydia said. "Maybe Carter as well if he wants to."
"Wonderful." Nik sighed. "I'll see you later, Love."
"Bye Nikki. I love you."
"I love you too." He said before hanging up the phone.
With a sigh, Lydia started pulling out some of her workout clothes. She loved to keep fit, running and fighting helped keep her anger in check. The red-haired girl pulled out a pair of black leggings and a white sports bra along with a grey hoodie. Lydia slipped on the outfit, finishing it off with a pair of white trainers with a hint of red in them.

Lydia tied up her hair into a high ponytail and she walked out of her room, towards Caroline's. Without knocking she walked straight into her sisters' room only to see her still sleeping. With a sigh, the adopted Forbes girl walked over to her and shook her.
