FINN AND MAGGIE STOOD AT THEIR LOCKERS in a heated debate over who was the best Star Wars character, which had gone on for far too long. Thankfully Burt, Carol and Kurt walked up to the pair in a hurried frenzy and disrupted their conversation.

"Oh. What's going on?" Finn asked, confused as to why his mom was standing in front of him. "Is this one of those interventions?"

"They've bombarded me and told me to bring them to you." Kurt replied.

Burt looked at the three kids with excitement, "okay, so you know how I drive Carol to work every Tuesday? Well... today I drove down here and we snuck into that classroom where Kurt first introduced us and... I bent down on one knee-"

"He proposed! He proposed!"

Kurt and Maggie let out loud gasps, their smiles instantly growing. Maggie raced over to Carol who had her hand stretched out, letting the girl admire her shining engagement ring as Kurt hugged his dad. "It's beautiful, Carol. Congratulations, you guys!"

The two shared a look of love. Carol truly appreciated and loved Maggie like the daughter she never had. She believed that Maggie's friendship to Finn was the best thing that happened since he joined the glee club. She knew they made each other better. Maggie felt the exact way about Carol. The older woman always welcomed her into her home with open arms and treated her like one of her own.

"We wanted the two of you to be the first to know," Carol exclaimed, looking at Kurt and Finn. "And Maggie, of course."

"Come on, family hug!" Burt demanded, holding out his arms as they all gathered in around him. Maggie stayed put not wanting to intrude, but Burt pulled her into it.

There was a silence as everyone waited for Finn to say something, as he hasn't said a word yet. Finn looked at Maggie, silently waiting for her to tell him how to react. He was happy for his mom, he just didn't want everything to change even more than it already has. It felt like everything was happening too fast.

"Finn, you haven't said anything." Carol spoke up, a look of worry washing over her face. "Come on, honey. Be happy for me."

Maggie made eye contact with her best friend, silently telling him to put on a smile, even if it was a fake one, just for now. Fortunately the boy got the hint as he turned to Carol. "I am, mom," Finn smiled. Maggie let out a sigh of relief, happy he did the right thing.

Kurt beamed. Maggie noticed that this is the happiest she's seen him be in a while, "Oh this is just what I needed! Dad, since you've gotten better you deserve to dance the night away. I'm going to hire The New Directions as your band. Long story short, you're having a glee wedding!"

Kurt rushed off with Carol and Burt to start planning, but Finn was still oddly quiet "Why are you so against this wedding?" Maggie grinned, shaking his shoulders slightly. "It's so exciting!"
