"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings."
- Cassio; William Shakespearen i n e t e e n
when oliver woke the streets looked familiar.
he remember that roundabout and those houses that they passed and he remembered the park where he used to play at when he was a little boy.
he turned to look at nova who was looking straight ahead onto the road.
He sat up straight. "nova,"
She didn't look at him.
"what have you done?"And then they stopped in front of that oh so familiar house he's supposed to call home.
then he saw them. his parents, that is.
he looked from them to nova and then back.
then he opened the door. his mother moved first, and the that sprang his father into action.
and their arms were around him and he was frozen.
his mother pulled away keeping her hands on his arms. "why?" she searched his face. "we didn't know what to think, you didn't even leave a note. ollie, say something." he didn't." tears escapes her eyes. "it's your nana." she began even though he never asked.
he took a step back. "what happened?"
"she passed away two nights ago, in her sleep."
he took another step back and then looked at nova, who gave him a sad smile. he's numb.
she's leaning against her car. oliver figures it out, why she brought him back.
he walks over to her, he's not angry, he never could be at her. "You knew. You knew, that's why you wanted to come back."
She nods. "My mum called me."
"Why didn't you just tell me? Why did you bring me back here?" he mumbles this softly.
and when she doesn't answer he runs to that park that he used to play at when he was a kid.
