he couldn't drive, but she could.
and they very thought of that
kept him up
all night.
he worried he had scared her away,
because once
the words left his mouth she closed
her window and turned
out the lights.
his parents, were once again screaming,
which could of been the reason
he missed the sound of
rock beings smashed
against his window. then she appeared.
she saw the tears in his eyes at the sound
of his parents yelling. she looked at him
with a reassuring smile, one he did not
copy.
"i don't know why they
don't just divorce."
she grabbed his hand and pulled him to his window.
"i have a surprise."
