Teresa's pov

I have never felt so refreshed and revived in such a long time. It was nice, the feeling of being well rested. I got up and pulled the extra clothes from my bag and put them on. It was then I realized that Elijah was not in the room. I went towards the kitchen and saw him in front of the television with the news on.

"Late last night around 10:30 these two vigilantes were recorded into this convenience store and is now a prime suspect in robbery and arson. The video being played shows the man entering the convenience store followed by the female a few moments later where a series of gun-shots were then set off and 4 men with masks on attacked them which they narrowly escaped unscathed. 10 minutes later some men returned and set fire to the convenience store. These two vigilantes are wanted for questioning by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On to the latest news in sports."

"Motherfucking shit. This is exactly what I didn't want to happen. They are going to find us sooner or later and just when I think that we can leave the country using the airports we are wanted by the government. How the fuck are we going to leave? Am not travelling by ship because I am prone to have sea-sickness. "

"Elijah you need to calm down so we can think about this rationally." Once he calmed down we sat on the couch and begun thinking of everything that could possibly take place. That's when I remembered the clerk at the front desk. "Shit if the desk clerk watched the news this morning he either reported us already or we are going to have to bribe him." I gathered my stuff but luckily Elijah had already wiped the place clean leaving no evidence that we were once there. We raced down to the front desk and to the clerk.

He stood there looking smug. "Good day Sir and Mam to what may I be of service?" Elijah had steam pouring out of his ears. "I am guessing you have watched the news this morning?" I questioned. "The news you say what could have possibly be of importance there?" he replied smirking.

Elijah grabbed him by his collar and demand to know what his price was. "The man looked between Elijah and I and he sighed with regret like he came to a hard decision. "Oh nothing much just triple what you paid last night plus a little extra with tip because I have been a great host." Elijah let him go while the clerk smoothed out the front of his shirt. Suddenly the clerk said "Did you know I have never been to the Bahamas before. I heard its lovely during this time of the year. Although its lovely all season round." He stared at Elijah expectantly and subtly hinted towards his wallet. Elijah withdrew a coupon from his wallet and gave him. "Thanks for doing business with us. It was remarkable having you here. Pray tell please come again." He taunted us.

Elijah left the building in a hurry and when I found him he was kicking a garbage bin rather viciously. "That stupid little shit." With each word he said his accent became heavier. That was when I realized that it was when he is caught up in emotional distress that his accent comes through. I stared intently at his lips as he continued ranted and watched each syllable rolled of his luscious lips. He licked his lips and rest his hand on his hips and bent forward trying to catch his breath.

That was when the kiss replayed in my mind and I reminisced the way my body heated at his touch and my nipples pebbled and my womanhood leaked ready to be taken. My breath became labored and when he looked at me I was caught up in him and thinking of all the possible scenarios that could take place right now and all of them ended with him having his way with me. It was when the clerk showed up out of nowhere and demanded that Elijah paid for the damages he had done to his property that I remembered where we were at. I cleared my throat and wait for him by the front door. He touched my shoulder and indicated that we needed to hit the road.

We walked a couple minutes until we reached a deserted land and I could see that something was in the distance. He told me stay put and he head towards it. A few moments later I heard the rumble of a engine and saw a vehicle coming towards me. It pulled up beside me and I got in.

"So where are we heading?" I inquired.

"At a friend of mine's safe house a couple miles from here." I nod my head in understanding. "Exactly how safe?" I asked. I realized I was irritating him by the muscle ticking in his cheek but he answered "Safe enough that not even the government knows it exist."

I shut up after that and leaned against the window watching the non-existent scenery go by.
