As soon as I said my name something clicked in his eyes and his glared at me almost but as soon as it appeared it disappeared and I thought I might as well have just imagined it. He turned back to Elijah. "I'm hungry what did you have for breakfast."
"I don't know I think it might have been pancake or waffles probably toast and eggs." I face palmed and answered Jacob's question. "OMG it was pancakes and coffee.. pancakes and coffee. I don't understand how you know almost everything that you do but you still don't remember what you had probably an hour ago for breakfast." He glared at me and replied through clenched teeth "It wasn't important enough."
He noticed how hurt I was as soon as I turned my back and went into the kitchen to prepare something for Jacob. "I didn't mean it like that Teresa." I continued mixing the batter and replied "It doesn't even matter."
"I am sorry I hurt you feelings, I know I can be a bitch most times but I never meant what I said love." He said. His arms wrapped around me and pressed a kiss to my neck. "Do you forgive me including for earlier as well?" he questioned. I contemplated everything he just said and I knew I could never be angry at him for something that know nothing about along with what he said earlier so I nod by head indicating that I did forgive me.
"Are you guys done with your little lover spat now and have forgiven each other." I felt more than saw Elijah roll his eyes as he turned towards to Jacob. "yes we are finish Jay, Why are you here? I don't need you in more trouble than is necessary."
"I want to help Eli. You know you're my brother and I need to do all that I can so you can accomplish this mission you are on." Elijah stared down Jacob for a few more moments and agreed reluctantly, "Fine," Jacob grin was massive taking up all his face in triumph. He sat at the table and Elijah gave him the run down. I gave a serving to Jacob and he ate while Elijah looked at me innocently silently begging for another serving.
A plan came underway and soon we were getting ready to leave at midnight.
Elijah placed the bags in the trunk and we all went a board. Jacob went in the back and I strapped myself in. we left the property and now we were on our way towards Jacob's small plane strip back in the dessert.
I fell asleep soon after and left the boys to converse among themselves.
Elijah's pov
I kept glancing at Teresa as she slept and I can feel the smirk on Jacobs face as he stared at us. "You're smitten with her aren't you?" he asked. "And if I am?" I replied.
"You know nothing can come of it?" "Does it really matter what comes of or does not comes of it?" "She is forbidden territory. Not yours to have. Forever out of your reach Eli." I brought the car to a stop and turned to face him. "You think I don't know that. I have been fighting whatever it is that I feel for her from the moment I have been trailing her. Its not stopping it only grows and overwhelm me and I am currently done hiding from it." His face went blank and he turned and glanced out the window. "I am sorry that you feel the way that you do and as much as how that's probably genuine feelings you possess for her I suggest that you forget about her cause there are going to be things done that is out of your control."
"What's that supposed to mean?" He turned towards me with a forlorn expression, leaned back on the seat and then got comfortable. I stared at him for a few more minutes then turned towards the angel beside me and took off again. I pondered the whole journey what exactly Jacob meant with what he said but the revelation came unto me too late in the midst of the war realizing Jacob was a renegade.
Unknown POV
"Plans in motion sir. We are about to retrieve the package." Smiling sinfully I watched my prized possession lashed around the room at the good news I had just retrieved.
