Cyrus POV

"So class, you may talk with your partner as I get my lesson ready," said our teacher.

Well guess I have to talk to the boy now.
"Uh, hello."

He looked over at me as he twirled his pencil with his fingers.
"Hey."

"My name's Cyrus."

"I'm TJ."

TJ hm? Scary intimidating TJ. He looked really cute though. I mean, nothing. Why'd I say that?

TJ slightly smiled. He had a really nice smile. Oh, I'm spacing out.

"Guess we're sitting here for the rest of the year," I said.

"Yup. Hey, aren't you friends with Marty?"

"Marty? You know him?"

"Yeah, I became his friend last year. He's one of my only friends if I'm being honest."

"Well, I guess we can be friends," I said with a small smile.

"Yeah. What's your next class?"

"History."

I looked at his schedule and saw that we had the same class. Seems like we had a lot of the same classes! I suddenly had a big smile on my face. I quickly realized he was still looking at me.

"Oh, me too!"

"Great! I can walk you there," he smiled again. Gosh I love his smile. I started to blush.

"Of course."

After class ended, we started packing up our things. He finished first and looked over at me.

"Let's go."

I finished and we both walked all the way to History class.

I really enjoyed being with him and the fact that he asked me to walk with me made my heart flutter. First day, and our history teacher already gave us homework. We talked for a while in History until I noticed the bell was almost going to ring and we had lunch next.

"So, do you have anyone to eat lunch with?"

"Not really. The only person I've talked to was Marty and you."

"Well, do you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?" I asked quietly in case he said no, but he still somehow heard me.

"Sure!"

I saw a giant smile on his face. I loved it when he smiled.

The bell rang. We walked close to each other as we went to lunch. I saw Andi, Buffy, Jonah, Marty, and Amber all sitting down at a table together. As I walked closer it seemed that TJ was surprised to see a familar face at the table.

"Oh, Marty's friends with you guys."

"Yup!"

After I introduced him to everyone, I sat down and TJ sat down right next to me.

TJ noticed Amber was also sitting with us.

"Oh hey Amber!"

"Hey Teej!"

"You two know each other?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah, we're siblings."

"Oh, I didn't know that. You sure are a mysterious person."

"Not that mysterious."

As everyone grabbed their lunch, I pulled out a delicious chocolate chip muffin from my brown lunch bag and immediately started eating it.

"I see you like chocolate chip muffins hm?" TJ said with a cute laugh.

I laughed as I was eating my muffin.

"Guess so!"

"So I see you made a new friend," said Buffy as she looked over at TJ.

"Yup! He was really nice to me in Math and History," I said with a smile watching as TJ was slightly blushing.

"Well guys, I heard that there's going to be a Club Fair at our school so we can pick new clubs to join!" said Andi excitedly.

"Ooh, that should be fun," I said.

"I wonder if there's a music club," said Jonah.

"There are tons of clubs. I heard there's an Arts & Crafts one which I'm totally joining," said Andi.

I looked over at TJ and asked, "So what club are you thinking of joining?"

"I'll join whichever club you join," he said with a cute smile.

We both smiled at each other until the bell rang a few seconds after. We all got up and cleaned up our table. I saw that me and TJ didn't have our next class together, but at least we had Chemistry with each other.

"I'll see you later at our next class."

"Can't wait."

TJ started walking away and looked back at me and waved goodbye. I waved back. He then left to his next class.
