You opened your eyes and yawned- stretching as you did. You then got up out of bed and looked out the window... "AH! OH MY GOD!" You screeched, falling backwards. Outside was all blocks, and nothing but that. There had to be a mirror somewhere right? Wait, this is minecraft, there are no mirrors.

Maybe a window. How did you know you were really in minecraft? Well, you punched yourself. It hurt. You looked at yourself in the window, your reflection only slightly visible but it worked.

You looked like your minecraft skin, but the colors were more accurate to your real life self. That, and the shirt was now plain. No creeper face on it. Your shoes were also changed to the ones you usually wore in the real world. If this were a prank, it went way too far. Who would even pull this, though? Not anyone you knew, that's for sure.

You looked around the room, hoping to find something you recognized. You opened a chest and found all your belongings from the world you and Steve built the- you're in the mansion. You're in the mansion, you have to be.

You left the room and looked around. Definitely familiar... you then heard a screech- or a high-pitched yell. "WHO ARE YOU?!" You turned to the voice and saw Steve. Wait- You saw Steve?! Being in the minecraft dimension isn't what made you the most freaked out, the thing that freaked you out the most was that Steve is a living character.

Hold on a tick, he asked you a question. Think of a lie! "I- Uh, I'm- I'm a new character Notch added?" You moreso asked than stated. "Huh... I didn't know that new characters could be aware of that..." Steve trailed off, which scared you. Momentarily. "That's great! Now I don't have to explain everything. Trust me it'd take a century." He said, which relieved you.

"Do you want me to show you the basics? You can take off from there." He suggested with a small shrug. "That would be nice." You responded with a smile. "While we're talking, I could also give you some advice." [Alex_FanThing_Wolf: Yes, I just did that]. You only nodded in response, not entirely sure on what to say.

---

"And that concludes our lessons!" Steve said, which made you sigh. It was nearly sundown. Minecraft days are just like real life ones- when you're in the game, that is. Needless to say, you were tired. "C-Can we go back ho-home?" You asked, literally out of breath. The last task you had was killing a skeleton, and those bastards don't go down without a fight.

"Yeah, it seems like you need to rest." Steve slightly chuckled- which earned him a playful punch from you. "Remember that if you see a player, don't interact with them like you do with me, be-" "cause they will freak out, blah blah blah, I know best, blah blah blah, okay dad." You finished his sentence for him, which earned you a playful punch from him.

On the walk back, Steve went from carefree to scared and alert in an instant at a random point. "The house should be-" "Sshhh." He shushed you, still looking around. What did he see? You'd ask later. You didn't want him to freak out more than he already was.

After a few more moments of silence, the walk continued. You both got inside quickly, and Steve locked the door. Which you didn't know was possible, but you're currently in a game. What isn't possible?

"What did you see?" You whispered, slightly scared for multiple reasons. "I'd rather not say. Now isn't the time. We should probably just sleep. If you see anything, shout for me." He spoke quickly before leaving, which made you even more confused. Steve wasn't scared of mobs- not really scared, he didn't mind players, and he wouldn't freak out over getting hurt- he could respawn.

Wait... could you respawn? What if you couldn't? That would be a [literal] dead give away that you aren't code. If you could respawn, that's an issue off your hands.

... You needed sleep. You walked upstairs and to your room- your (f/c) bed slightly standing out. You felt a tap on your shoulder, which made your reflects kick in so you grabbed your sword and swung it- it collided with another sword. "Hey, it's just me, bud. Calm down." Steve said quietly, which relieved you. "You're a jerk." You claimed before putting your sword back into your inventory.

"Yeah- Sorry.. I just realized I forgot to ask- what's your name?" Steve asked, which surprised you. You didn't notice either. "It's..." should you lie? "It's Grey." Lie it is [TCP- Unless your name is Grey, in which I LOVE YOUR NAME]. "Huh. Well, sleep well Grey." Steve said before leaving.

You only waved before walking into your room and shutting the door. You didn't know how to lock it, so you left it unlocked. You laid in bed and fell asleep almost instantly, no clique disturbances.
