I was stunned as I stared at my long time crush. He was smiling at me as he walked towards me.

"It's been a really long time, Sohee." He spoke softly, "Congratulations on opening your shop."

My throat was dry but I managed to utter out his name. "Doyoung," my voice was breathy and I was beginning to feel awkward.

He gave me a light chuckle which sent shivers down my spine. His laugh never failed to make me flustered. "Wow, I'm glad you still recognize me."
I nodded, my mouth still open in shock, "Of course, you still look the same. Handsome as ever..." I mumbled the last part, hoping he didn't hear me.

His smile never left his face, "That's good to hear. Why don't we grab a cup of coffee, talk about what we've done the past 10 years?" He asked, holding my hand gently.

It was as if a shock went through my body and I nodded, hiding my blushing face. "That sounds good." After I locked up the shop, we both made our way to the nearest cafe.

"It's been a while, Sohee. How is everything? When did you move here?" Doyoung started bombing me with questions that I could barely keep up with.

My mind was spinning as we sat face to face, my anxiety skyrocketing through the roof. I couldn't believe that I'm alone with Doyoung, casually having coffee with him. "Everything is fine." I began to tell him almost everything that happened the past 10 years(which wasn't much), from taking over my parents' business to expanding it for deliveries before moving here a month ago to the city to open up the second location and everything in between.

I noticed that Doyoung's attention never wavered, not even once. He nodded through every word and even responded to a few of the things I said. My heart was still pounding in my chest. Not only was he ever so charming but he gives you his undivided attention when you want it.

"Wow, that's amazing." His remark didn't hold any indication of sarcasm or any of the such, in fact, he seemed genuinely amazed. "I feel good to hear you've been doing so well."

I smiled, my nervousness easing away, "What about you? You never told any of us where you were moving. And how did you know I was even here?"
Doyoung chuckled and nodded, "I know, it was wrong of me, don't ask me why." He told me of every event that happened since he moved to the city - how they opened up a bakery and have been booming since. Then he became flustered, "I've been keeping in touch with Taeyong." Taeyong is one of our close friends that I actually still talk to. "He was the one who told me you were opening your new shop. I also heard you two are dating?"

I coughed hard, nearly spurting my coffee out. "I'm sorry? Who is dating who?"

Doyoung raised a brow, "So you're not dating?"
I cleared my throat and shook my head, making an X with my arms. "No, definitely not. We went on one date but it was to get this girl off his back. It's nothing serious."

He smiled, his seemingly tense shoulders then relaxing. "I see, that's good to hear." Then his phone dinged and he frowned after taking a look at it. "I have to go. My dad is asking me to help him pick out new paint colors for our bakery," he chuckled, "It was really nice catching up with you, Sohee."

I laughed lightly as well, "Yeah, same goes for me too. Maybe we'll see each other again?"

He nodded then left hurriedly. I watched him leave through the window, to which he turned back to look at me then waved, grinning widely. Once he was out of sight, I sat back in my chair and let out a deep sigh.

Wow, what a moment.
