Chapter 2 Falling In Love And Getting Married

Jackie's POV: over time I grew extremely close to Chavez he was real sweet and was caring especially towards me I was sitting at the table with the rest of the boys one day when Chavez walked in with Doc he spotted me sitting there and walked over towards me he sat down beside me we had been going steady for little over a year now so it was no surprise that we were in fact dating

You doing alright Jackie amor? Chavez asked looking at me with those dark eyes of his I have to admit I felt hypnotized by his eyes and my heart skips a beat every time I hear his voice

Yeah I'm okay I guess I answered leaning towards him and him wrapping his arms around I looked up at him and smiled softly then we sherd a kiss of Arkansas Dave was being a total douche about it

Oh god get a room will you he said

Chavez and I shot a glare at him after we kissed Billy agreed and told Arkansas Dave that he better watch it or one of these days Chavez is going to come unglued and wipe his ass which I'd be honest with you I rather he do it right now because I couldn't take him anymore Chavez looked at me and asked if I wanted to go somewhere else

You wanna go somewhere else maybe some place that's quiet and without Arkansas Dave ruining our moment? Chavez asked

Yeah sure I replied and with that Chavez took me by the hand we walked a place that was quiet we sat down Chavez had brought a blanket he wrapped it up around us and we curled up beside each other Chavez kissed my temple and I leaned towards his shoulder and he held me tighter

It's beautiful out tonight I said

Yeah it is isn't it the great spirits are up there watching over us he replied

I always found it somehow romantic when he talk like that I had learned that Chavez was not only Mexican he was also part Navajo as well he told me stories about his parents and how it took awhile before his mother moved on from his father's death and that his father was Mexican war veteran and had died in battle he also told me about the day his entire family was murdered in cold blood by the US Government I felt bad for him but I was nevertheless happy that he is still here and he's still here with me we looked at each other and kissed passionately

I've got a surprise for you he said

What is it Chavez? I asked curiously looking at him worriedly

He pulled out from the pocket of his jacket I was a small box he got on one knee and that's when I realized what he was about to ask me

Jackie will you make me the luckiest and happiest man in the world and will you marry me? He asked

I cupped my mouth in shock and happiness he asked me to marry him I couldn't believe it I smiled softly and said yes that I would marry him he smiled and chuckled softly then we kissed and he slipped the ring onto my ring finger and then we kissed again

I love you Jackie he said

I love you too Chavez I replied

After he proposed to me we went back and told the boys the good news and boy were they happy

Damn Chavez it's about time you got married Billy said chuckling
