Somebody that I used to know Chapter 1

It's quiet in my room, all I can hear is the rain streaming down the windows and the sound of a car driving through my street. I'm sitting on the couch, trying not to remind myself of what happend earlier, but I can't. I need to review it, trying to figure out how this could happen, how somebody that I used to know could change so much in the short time of two month.

*2 hours earlier*

I was excited. Finally, after two long months I was going to see HIM again, my best friend, the boy, that I secretly love. My hands trumbled, I felt my heart beating fast. I stepped through the door, making my way to the Arrival Area of Heathrow Airport. Suddenly I heard hundreds of girls screaming, I was pretty shocked. I knew the boys are famous, but I did not expected something like THIS. Girls singing their songs, crying and fighting over who's the best.

I cut my way through the crowd and then I saw him. He looked pissed. He walked near me and I could hear him saying '' shower of cunts''. "Niall, wait for me.", I screamed, but he kept on walking. "NIALL JAMES HORAN DONT YOU DARE TO WALK AWAY FROM YOUR BEST FRIEND!", I shouted and then he finally turned his head and looked in my eyes. " What are YOU doing here? You aren't supposed to be here.", he said calmly.

I thought he was kidding, but he obviously wasn't, his face was straight. "I - I - I thought you would be happy to see me after two long months, but you seem to be pretty pissed about me driving from Manchester to London just to see you. But since you obviously don't care about your longtime best friend anymore, I think I will leave now.", I told him, trying to hold back the tears, which appeared in my eyes. He just shrugged and walked off.

I wasn't able to think straight, my mind was going crazy and I kind of felt my heart breaking inside my chest. ,,ELIA!'', I heard someone shouting behind me and I immediately turned my head. Four boys with happy faces were running in my direction, screaming my name. "Hi boys.", I failed a smile as they all put me in a massive group hug. Liam noticed my sad face first. "Elia, whats wrong? Where's Niall?", he asked me. A silent tear slid down my face and I tried to explain the whole situation, but the screaming of the fans always interrupted me. "Let's go somewhere else.", I stated.

"So he just walked away, leaving you in the crowd?", Harry asked slowly, trying to understand the whole situation. " That's exactly what he did, Harry. He just shrugged and walked off.", I answered. "What have I done boys? Two months ago we were the best friends ever and now he rejected me for nothing. I wanted to suprise him, I imagined him smiling about me, driving all the way from Manchester to London just for him. I'm just confused about everything.", I muttered, still trying to calm down a bit.

"Maybe he's just stressed due to the long plane ride, but we will talk to him about that anyway! I bet he's really sorry!", Zayn said. "GROUP HUG NOW. C'MON GUYS!", Louis screamed in my ear, making me chuckle a bit. These boys are amazing, they never fail to cheer me up, I really love them, I thought, as we all hugged.

*Present time*

My heart is still hoping that everything is just a missunderstanding and he was just stressed, but my mind keeps telling that he changed, that he's not the same Niall, I used to know and love. This thought makes me so sad. How could he just reject me after all we went through? The up's and down's of our amazing friendship, it seems like he forgot everything. The crazy and weird things we made, the fights we had and the moments we just enjoyed each other company. He don't care about me anymore.
