chapter 5

POV : Andy

 POV : Andy

It took him hours to settle down. I was starting to get really worried... Did no one really care about him? He must've been through a lot. I guess the whole time he kept the weight of the whole world on him. I got my work cut out I guess. Looking at him now, wraped in my arms, he looked so fragile; like a delicate, lost bird.

"...Sorry." Lavi mumbled. "I-I'm sorry you had to see that."

" It's fine. I kind of expected it...I mean, I did gang up on you and all. I was really harsh too so... I should be the one that's sorry. Not you." I gave him a small smile but he wasn't looking at me. He shook his head slowly.

" No...what you said was true." He gave a curt chuckle. " It's completely true..." Lavi started shaking again and the only thing I could do was hold him as close as I could. It was the only way to show him that he wasn't alone. Silence hung heavily in the air as we contined to lay their on my bed.

" So...what do you want to do for the day?" I asked, trying to get his mind off of him crying.

" I dont know." Was his immediate response but he paused. "What do you want to do?" I thought for a minute.

" Wanna go to the skate park?" I felt him shift. This was getting kind of awkward...

" I would but I don't know how to skate."

" Well, I guess we have something to do then! " I said looking into his eyes once more. He looked so confused. I almost felt sorry for the kid ,but in order for me to get him to feel anything other pain, I need to show him all the good there is before it was too late. Letting go of him , I got off the bed. I was about to go to the shower before I realized that he was staring at me. I stood there awkwardly. "...What?"

" Oh! Just...nothing..," Lavi looked all red. I got concerned once again.

" Hey, are you alright?" I said as I went back and put my hand on his forehead. He didn't have a fever or anything...

" I-I'm fine. " he insisted and looked to the side. He brushed my hand off too. Huh, what a odd kid.

" Ok...do you want to shower first then?" I stared at me once again before hesitantly replying.

" Um...sure... " He got off the bed and headed to the bathroom.I followed him in there and folded my arms.

"You sure you're ok?" Lavi nodded furiously.

" Y-yeah, just a bit light-headed is all." He said.

" Huh...ok... " I said skeptecally. " Here's a towel. When you come out, there will be clothes on the bed, ok ?" He nodded once again.

" Mhm..wait, where are you going?" I paused at the doorway.

" Oh! I need to look for my skating stuff so Imma do that while you're in the shower and stuff. " I lied. Why I lied, I'm totally don't know but it's somehing about the atmosphere in there. I just needed some air. Luckily, he brought my lie and proceeded to take a shower.

I left my room quickly. I needed time to think. I mean, I really don'tt have any reason to do this and he's just some guy that I basically reached out and grabbed so why would I go through such lengths to make him my freind; get his trust and help him? What does it all mean? Just then, my phone rang . Who would be calling me so early in the morning? I picked up anyway.

" Hello?" I heard someone sigh on the other side.

" Hey, where are you? You've been M.I.A all day!" I raised an eyebrow.

" Jesse, what are you talking about? It's not even light outside yet. " She scoffed.

" Yeah, not anymore Andy. It's 6:00 PM not AM! " I whistled as I scratched my head.

" Damn... I spent the entire day and night with-" I stopped. I didn't want to tell my girlfreind that I spent the day in bed with a guy. It would just make me look bad. Especially since I don't play on that team.

" Andy? Hello? You still there?" Jesse's concerned tone snapped me out of my mental rambling.

" Oh! Ugh, yeah, sorry... Just had a brain fart. Haha, too much sleep and all. " I didn't want to lie but techically, I wasn't. I really was in bed asleep.

" Huh, ok? So what happened with the new kid?" For some reason that kind of irritated me. I momentarily forgot that it was suppose to be a secret.

" Well for starters, his name is Lavi Shimuny. He slept over just now and- " I bit down on my tongue. Damnit! There goes my retard streak again. Jesse was silent for a long time. I was about to hang up on her but I heard her growl a bit.

" Are you freakin' nuts?! Did you forget where you lived?" She said the next line in a hushed voice. "Does the alpha know about this crap?"

" No! Of course not. No one even noticed him yet. "

" Yet! Get him out of there, NOW." She sounded super pissed off. Jeez, I can never win now can I?

" I am! Calm down! We're about to leave anyway." I ran my hand through my hair and sighed.

" Good. If you get caught, I hope you know that it won't end nicely." Without a nice "goood-bye", she hung up on me. Damn she knew how to get things across.How did it end up being night time already? Sighing again, I desperately needed to shower. I can't be thinking about what might happen...As I headed up back to my room, I couldn't help but think of the scene in school when I caught Lavi. My wolf is so angry with me about this whole Lavi situation. I reached my room, obviously not paying attention to anything so i was pretty damn surprised to hear, what I thought was a girl shrieking and running to the bed. She trying to grab the blanket to wrap herself with but in reality it was just Lavi...with a hard on. My mind completely blanked out on me as I stared at Lavi. I felt my face turn hot as hell.

"Oh, um, well, I just. Sorry!" I said. " I should've of knocked!" I quickly closed the door behind me and covered my red face. What the hell was that? Why did he have a boner? What the hell?! More importantly, why did I get all fidgity when he was the one with the hard on. I laid my head on the door of my room, trying to process what had just happend when the door suddently opened. Before I knew it, I fell face first onto the floor.

" Ouch..." I whined as I looked up. Holding my throbbing nose, Lavi just stood there, face blushing furiously but also emotionless. It made me think about how he got to be so emotionless all of a sudden.

" So...are you just going to lay there all day or are you going to get ready for the skate park?" He asked, looking straight into my eyes.

" Actually, it's night time right now. " I said, still on the floor and holding my nose. He sighed.

" Ok then. I'm going home." He walked around me and began to walk away.

" Wait! Let me take a shower and change. I'll drive you back." I grabbed onto his hand and kept him there.

" No, really. it's fine." He said a little too quickly.

" Well, I insist. " I needed to find out more about Lavi. I just didn't want to leave him alone...who knows what he'll do when he's alone!

" I want to walk home." He tried to free his hand from my grip but I clung on. No way is he leaving yet.

" I live near the forest. You basically live in the city. That's a three hour walk dude." He looked hesitant but nodded. "Ok, just go back inside and watch some T.V. We'll leave in fifteen mintues." He sighed as I let go of his hand.

"Ok, I'm just hungry. "

" We'll get something to eat outside. " I said as I led him back to the bed and turned on the T.V. I then hurried off into the bathroom with some clothes and a towel.
