What TO do-
First of all, if you ship something you don't want your friends to know about,don't tell them, obviously.
When they are around don't read any fanfiction about it, and don't look at pictures of the ship. If they happen to find out that you have read some fanfiction about it on a site such as this one and quotev, say that you were just curious about the ship and wanted to see why people liked it so much.
What NOT to do-
Make sure that whatever site, such as this one or quotev,your friends are on. Then post everything you can find about the particular ship. They will probably notice it right away and you'll have no excuse to why this ship is on your profile.
