Literature in metrical form
Feelings and thoughts
resembling a storm.
Metaphors- indirect comparisons
that don't open doors.
The inanimate personified
Will never bring back those who have unjustly died.
Alliteration and assonance still don't make the ills of the world sound rhythmically acceptable.
Similes won't always be able to express a resemblance between subjects too alike
yet so distinctly separate.
But putting down feelings in words
Is an art;
A talent that'll never part.
Having an empty plate
Makes one gain weight,
metaphorically,
A mind full of thoughts
Getting heavier by the hour
A page full of empty space
Having no power or place.
Messy thoughts
Of all sorts
Not expressed
Stay thoughts thought.
