He realized he was alive after feeling what could only be described as horrible pain.
As Henry got up, He realized his hands were bleeding- So was, Well, A lot more parts of him, Like the back of his head and his back in general- But the hands were what he noticed first.
He looked back and noticed the sharp edges of the planks that'd fallen- Most bloodied from the fall. So that was how.Henry cringed, But limped on, Finding a boarded-up door.
Now, Henry was no fool.
Well, He kind of was, But he was smart enough not to go through doors that had boards on them.
The only problem was that this was the only door, So it was either that he sit here and bleed out, Or go through the door and find out what was on the other side.
Well, He'd made enough bad decisions already. Deciding silently that things couldn't get worse, Henry grabbed a plank and tried to tear it down. One after the other, They hit the ground with clatters and thunks before he finally had freed the door, Opening it.
The room was empty, And so, He walked on.
He had no idea of where he was going until he found a staircase upwards, And went up.Only to open the door, And find the demon standing behind it. "Found ya!"
Henry panicked, And stumbled back, Forgetting he was on the stairs. "Henry, Wait, Th' stairs!-"
And he fell, The demon moving to try and save him and yet failing once again, Only able to watch him fall.A deafening CRACK! signaled him hitting the bottom, Bendy staring at the body in complete silence.
