The next day, I unwillingly dragged myself to office. This was our last week of internship and then back to college.
" Saaransh, pick me up please." I said, calling him.
" Yeah, as soon as I start for your home I'll call you." He replied and we hung up.
Anika was sleeping when he phone went off. It was aunty. I picked it up.
" Good morning aunty, Anika is sleeping." I said.
" Beta please wake her up and send her home. Her mother in law and I are taking her shopping." She said.
" No aunty! You cannot do that?" I exclaimed.
Because of my sweet voice, Anika woke up.
" Why beta?" She asked.
" Because we are going to select her dresses." I told her honestly.
" Okay, fine but what about the ornaments?" She asked.
" That you all can decide once we have decided about the dress." I replied.
She sighed but agreed nonetheless and then hung up.
" We are going to shop for you after you we get back from the office. You be ready by 6. I'll have someone pick you up." I instructed Anika and went to take bath.
I was ready in about half an hour and and went downstairs for breakfast. Anika accompanied me.

We both ate and then she took a cab home because my brothers and dad had already left.
" Shreya, come out." I heard Saaransh yell.
" You know, any civil person would just call instead of yelling." I taunted him.
" Saying the girl who has no problem in shouting in the middle of a movie hall." He taunted back. I rolled my eyes and sat.
" Listen, I know you guys are not interested in shopping so you'll have to pick Anika up and drop her to the shop where Adya and I'll be there. Then you are free to do whatever you want." I said.
" Yes mam." He said while driving.
" Shreya, I need you to compile this list and handover it to me by noon. Am I clear?" Vaibhav sir said as I knocked his cabin to report.
I nodded and went away.
The day passed soon and Adya and I were in a bridal shop, seeing dresses for Anika.
" I am here." Anika announced her arrival with Saaransh. Then the boys left to do whatever they wanted.
We made Anika try hundreds of dresses. Finally, her dresses for sangeet, haldi and mehendi were decided.
