The New Age Sect was three miles away, right off the highway, and it was completely abandoned when they arrived.

It was only the parking lot of a mall that had been abandoned years ago...

In the year 2047, there was perhaps only two malls in the world worth going to, and people only went because of their lavish gentlemans clubs.

"Yes," John Wong replied, parking the car in the lot as everyone in the car started to panic.

They all dropped their jaws a second later as three buildings were erected with a fence in a matter of seconds.

"Is that some type of camoflauge, Doctor Wong?" The brunette nurse in the green turtle neck said, holding Linda's head on her chest. "I didn't think we had that type of technology..."

"It's hard to explain," John also felt shocked as he looked at a large pagoda that had appeared surrounded by a fence and gate. He couldn't see the three buildings that were inside, but soon found out as a prompt appeared.

John walked into the Sect with the nurses, Linda, and the little girl, marveling at what had been built. The Main Hall Pagoda was especially impressive in the center of the Sect and the lodge was also not too shabby.

They were both constructed out of wood and had thatched roofs made out of straw. Perhaps this was supposed to be some type of safe haven for humanities remaining survivors?

John turned around to find one of the nurses with Linda who was now standing and conscious. "Sorry... To answer your question earlier, this place is actually really the New Age Sect, and it was built in seconds..."

"Are you out of your mind?" One of the nurses said, "This place is great and all, but I have an Uncle who lives on a farm in Hearton Village... Why don't we just go there before we get attacked by those zombies!"

"We have to stay here, and I can't explain," John smiled at Linda who'd put on a green shirt. "Now go explore the premises, and tell me if you find any weapons or anything of value..."

"Doctor... this really is insane... Sects haven't been around since Ancient China... We can't just--"

"I know it sounds crazy, but trust me! Now... little girl... Can I see your arm?" John pulled back the little girl's shirt, noticing the mark of Karma. He clicked on the icon twice, jumping back as a box with her information appeared.
