harry seemed more and more uncomfortable as she talked. she felt like she screwed everything up but the way she looked at it, if she held everything in she was scared she'd blow up. literally.

"are you uncomfortable?" she blurted out, unsure if he really did stop for her. he eyed one gravestone so frequent as they talked.

"huh?" his gaze broke from the stone to her.

"are you sure you stopped for me?" she had to ask. "it seems like you stopped for that tombstone."

he huffed in a breath and let it out smoothly. she wondered if he was holding in tears.

"that was my best friend's nan..."

cara nodded sympathetically and moved herself to him.

"do you want to go over to her grave?"

harry really tried to fight the tears. he let out a trembling yes and cara grabbed his hand while they walked over to his best friend's grandmother's grave.

he let go over her hand and patted the ground where she was buried.

"did you ever meet her?"

"well of course." harry sniffled, "it was my best friend's grandmother."

cara kept nodding. it seemed like she couldn't stop. her eyes traveled to her tombstone and she read the inscriptions to herself.

"i'm sorry." cara whispered, tangling her fingers with his. he gripped her hand tightly.

"she died a few days ago. i didn't have time to go to the funeral and i was completely gutted."

"so this is the first time you're visiting her?"

his head slumped down as well as his posture and he nodded.

"can i tell you something?" harry's head stuck up and his eyes were on her. he looked like he didn't want to hear more of her depressing, petty bullshit but he gave her his attention.

"this lady," she glanced at the stone to remember her name, "margaret, must've been a really great lady. but you should take your own advice and not waste your life being so unhappy. celebrate all the happy things you remember of her-"

"i'll follow my own advice once you follow it."

"but if it's death you should follow it."

"any situation you shouldn't waste your time being unhappy."

"then why are you being unhappy over death? why don't you feel uplifted because you knew her, and knew that she was nice or whatever you thought of her? and you say i'm difficult."

harry had no choice other than to get angry and unleash every ounce of aggravation.

or kiss cara.
