•Suddenly I noticed a figure leaning against the wall with a cloud of smoke floating above them.
They emerged from the alley, the darkness falling off of them like a blanket. I had to hold back my giggle as a cliche carpet of fog now surrounded us up to our ankles.
What's next? Some music? Dun dun.. dun dun.
The tall and muscled figure stopped a few feet away, and due to pitch black night his identity remained unknown. I decided to take a few steps forward and to my surprise he stayed put. As i approached him and my feet crossed over under the yellow flickering street lamp i was met with emotionless eyes.
Eyes i haven't seen in two years and eight months not that i was counting or anything.. this was no stranger, this wasn't even a person i could call a friend, not after what he did. He broke his promise, but i should've known better.
Sin.
