why do some army's (armies??) believe that army ≠ K-pop stan?
do they think they're like a completely different type of fan or something.
I hate it when I go on twitter and see kpop stans getting bashed and army's replying and saying that "oh but we're not kpop stans, we're BTS stans 😍"
LIKE FAM. BTS IS A KPOP GROUP.
a lot of people sometimes like to think that BTS ain't a kpop group anymore, because of their westernised style, the fact that they've signed a contract with an American country, and that they're out of Korea a lot.
However. whenever they make a comeback, do they not perform in Korea? do they not sing in Korean? are they not a Korean boy group under bighit?
army's need to stop believing that just because their fandom is bigger than all other fandoms combined, they are not K-pop stans.
what really annoyed me the other day was when I found out that NCT dream got zero wins for we go up. mark got no win, at all for his last comeback with dream. that was so sad. yet boy with luv got 21 wins.
I understand BTS is overworked, trash talked by literally every anti, and that they don't even have proper treatment. however, NCT as a whole are also overworked, especially 127, they also get a lot of hate (mostly from armys thinking that NCT are 'copying' their concepts) and everyone knows about the horrible treatment sm gives.
so why did boy with luv get so many wins, but boom and superhuman only got 3 and 2 :(
I know I'm being biased since I'm an NCTzen and not an army,
but how much longer will this go on for like,
BTS getting multiple wins, crashing twitter because of how crazy their fans go, and being recognised as the only K-pop group ever.
nct and many other groups don't get as recognised as them, and that's just sad. they all work so hard, but fall under bts' shadow.
I hope in the future, once everyone realises that BTS is not the only K-pop group, that NCT and other groups get more recognition.
like I'm not saying they don't have any. because they do. I mean how else would the neo city tickets have gotten sold out within minutes, but the craze people have for BTS is way too much, and wayy too less for others.
