I walk into my office and see Natasha patiently waiting sitting on top of my desk.

"Hey." I greet and she looks up at me but doesn't say anything.

"Something wrong?" I ask walking over to her then stop in between her legs.

"When Coulson called and told you I was compromised you went to go save me without even knowing what you were getting yourself into. I mean anything could've happened." She says not making eye contact with me.

"Of course I did I'm a commander I will always put myself in the line of fire for my agents, and well, it was you." I say and she looks up at me.

"Whenever you're in need, I will always be there for you doll." I tell her softly and her eyes are swirling with emotion.

She smashes our lips together and it felt like it was more than just lust. We were making out, lost in eachother that we didn't hear the door open.

"What is going on here?!" Steve exclaims in an uncomfortable voice making his presence known.

"Steve oh my god!" Natasha exclaims pushing me away slightly.

"Dude we were in the middle of something." I tell him annoyed.

"My friend and my sister? That's-no this can't happen." He shakes his head confused on how to take in this information.

"What can and can't happen isn't any of your busniess!" I scoff stepping up but Natasha grabs my arm pulling me back.

"Steve give us a minute." Natasha says and he looks at her like she's crazy.

"For what? To finish?!" He asks sarcastically.

"Steve please." Natasha sighs and he hesitantly leaves.

"Good you kicked him out." I smile going to kiss her but she holds me back making me confused.

"What's wrong?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.

"Steve just got upset about us." She says in an obvious yet also disappointed tone getting off the desk.

"He'll get over it." I brush off but she shakes her head.

"He's my close friend and your brother. If he's not okay with this then, maybe we shouldn't do this anymore." She shakes her head and I feel my heart drop.

"Come on Nat we're great together." I say holding her hand to my chest but she slowly pushes me away.

"I'm sorry Mason but I don't want to cause any more problems between you and Steve. You guys were just starting to get along again." She says.

"I couldn't care less, don't end us. You were the only reason I was being nice to him in the first place." I say softly towering over her as she looks up at me.

"It's for the best." She shakes her head.

I grab her softly by the waist.

"Please Natalia think about this." I plead.

"I mean did this not mean anything to you?" I ask a bit hurt.

"Please don't make this harder Mason." She whimpers softly pecking my cheek getting out of my grasp heading to the door.

"Guess you still believe love is for children." I say bitterly, loud enough for her to hear as she walks away.

I look down sadly then leave my office seeing Steve waiting by the door.

"Mace-" He tries.

"You got what you wanted." I grit as I bump shoulders with him roughly walking past him.
