Ch 39

I walk into the kitchen very thristy after my training session with Bucky. I then see Vision reading a book sitting at the kitchen island.

"Hey V." I smile wiping the slight sweat from my forehead opening the fridge.

"Hello Mason, training I presume?" He asks looking up closing his book as he saved his place.

I nod taking a water taking a huge gulp.

"Yeah, what are you doing?" I ask going to stand across from where he was sitting.

"Just reading, passing time." He motions to his book.

"Missing Wanda?" I ask leaning on my forearms and he nods.

"Probably as much as you miss Natasha." He says.

Now everyone officially knows about what I had with Natasha since last night during dinner Tony thought it was the perfect place to claim his money from Thor and Bruce.

I chuckle with a slight blush looking down picking on the water bottle label.

"But they'll be here soon, I just occupy myself so I don't have time to think about missing her." Vision says.

"Same, I've been either working at SHIELD or here at the lab." I say standing straight.

"Hello." Thor smiles coming in.

"Hello." "Hey big guy whatcha doin?" Vision and I say at the same time.

"I was feeling like a snack." He says rumaging through the pantries.

"Well I went to the store this morning and I brought you Pop Tarts your favorite." I smile and his face lights up as he finds them.

"Thank you Mason you're so thoughtful." He says coming over lifting me up giving me a bone crushing hug if they could crush but it just makes me laugh.

"Anything for you big guy." I chuckle and he puts me down.

"Well I must be off, I need to find Stark *sighs* and pay off my debt." He says making me chuckle and Vision surpress a smile.

"Sorry big guy." I tell him and he waves me off.

"It's alright Mason I just hope you and lady Natasha get together. You two would make an adorable couple." He says sweetly walking out leaving me with a slight blush.

"He's not wrong." Vision teases.

"You guys are impossible!" I exclaim playfully making him chuckle.

I shake my head with a smile.

"Do you think I should do something nice for her?" I ask him.

"In what way?" He asks curious.

"Well when she comes back I would like to fix things right away I don't want things to be awkward between us so what if I do something nice for her so she could relax I'm sure she's going to come back tired." I tell him and he nods.

"What did you have in mind?" He asks.

I go to take a seat next to him and express my thoughts.

"You called Fury? Are the others alright? Do I need to fly out?" I ask worried stepping into his office.

"Calm down Rogers everything is fine and yes I did call you. There is some suspicious activity going on out of state and I would like for you to check it out." He explains handing me a file.

"Done." I nod taking it in my hands.

"We don't know what we're dealing with so it'll be the wisest decision to bring teammates with you." He says.
