chapter nine

Jade Pov

I thought about both options, there was no way that I would be his plaything because if he gets tired of me he would just give me to someone else or kill me, but if I become apart of this mafia that means there is no hope of me ever leaving and my life would become kill or be killed. between the options, there is only one that I would choose.

"Fine I chose to be apart of your mafia"

" Good now let's get out of here" He motions me to go but I couldn't due to the chains on me. "Umm I can't really with these" I shook my leg to show him the chains. He laughed " Those things are not even locked" It was fucking unlocked the whole time?

I took off the chains and after the first couple of steps I stumbled, I tried to walk but I kept on stumbling. "Oh I forgot that Stephenie shot you with a tranquilizer but move quickly we don't have all day" He can't be serious; Stephenie SHOT me?

I walked faster which was like a foal trying to run for the first time. As we walk through the hall I could hear the groans of the people who were locked, but there was one person in a cell that was grunting very loudly. When we walked farther up the grunts got louder. As we got up to the cell, Vinzceno yelled at the man to shut up. I looked at the man who was bleeding from the side of his head. He looked like he has been through hell and back, but he looked familiar to me for some reason but, I could not put my finger on it.

The man looked up at me in shock. "H-how are you still alive" he said with a faint voice. I didn't know what he meant by that nor did I want to. I looked away from him but I could still feel him staring at me, I tried to walk a bit fast so that I wouldn't feel his gaze.

I continued walking after him still stumbling. We got to some stairs, you got to be kidding meeee. As he was going up the stairs I could barely go up at all and he didn't even help me he just kept ongoing.

"If you don't get up there by the time I get up there, your punishment will be twice as terrible and you will be my little service girl too," he said without looking at me. I started to try and go faster which did not go right at all.

I made up the stairs and surprisingly I was able to still keep up with him somehow.

We kept on walking, I noticed that the area that we were in was quite unusual. The walls were different from the other walls in the house. These walls had a depressing feeling on them, it was very dark the lights were dimmer than the lights in the other halls.

"Every member of the mafia has the Symbol of the Roso Drago(the picture up top), it is usually a tattoo somewhere on their bodies of my choice". He kept on talking about the whole tattoo thing but I stopped paying attention, I was thinking to myself what if all this was just a dream and I would wake up in my bed.

"Do you understand?" Vincenzo stopped in front of a door and looked at me waiting for a response. "Yeah...I understand" I said without knowing what he was talking about. He opened the door.

Inside the room was a man near a chair that looks like a chair at the dentist. The man had black glasses, he had black hair, and he looked like he was in his late 30's.

" This is Tigre, he will be the one who will do your tattoo." Vincenzo stood at the door pointing at Tigre. I walked closer to Tigre so I could introduce myself to him. "Hello Tigre, I'm Jade Brown it's nice to meet you." I tried to shake his but he just looked at my hand with disgust.

"I already know who you were and your background." When he said that, my heart skipped a beat. "But one thing that I don't understand is, why are there 3+ years missing from your background?" Mom must have done that so no one would ever find out what happened. "I don't know what you are talking about."

I could see it in his facial expression that he did not believe what I said. "Ok now, where are we going to put the symbol on her," Tigre said turning to Vincenzo. Vincenzo put his hand on his chin" I don't know I was thinking maybe the butt, lower back, thigh, or stomach" Vincenzo looked at Tigre " Where do you think it should go?" Tigre just shrugged his shoulders.

"Why don't I get to choose where it goes cause it is my body." Vincenzo looked at me and smirked. "You don't own your body I do because I'm your leader/boss."

Vincenzo POV

"Let's put on her left inner thigh" Tigre agreed. Jade didn't say anything.

Tigre took out the equipment for her tattoo, when he did Jade had a concerned look on her face. She looked at me. "What in the world is that?" She pointed at the equipment. "Were you not listening to what I was saying earlier?"

"Well...you see...the thing is-". I cut her off. "It doesn't matter, Tigre let's get her tied up so we can get this over with".
