Louis P.O.V

"Louis come on! We'll be late!" I heard someone pounding against my door. I raised my head and squinted against the bright light. Listless I let myself sink back into my pillow. The very last I wanted to do was to appear in a television show, to give an interview, to promote our new album. It can't be helped. Without that I really knew what I was doing I went to the closet, grabbed arbitrarily some fresh clothes and went into the bathroom. "I wonder if Lou can fix this." Liam said to me, who stood in front of the mirror shaving. I didn't answer him and saw myself in the mirror. What had happened at Christmas, had clearly left its mark on me. My complexion had an unhealthy shade of gray, which the dark eye circles didn't improve. Since Lily was gone, I was hiding in my room and tried to convince myself that she was better off without me. I miss her. I took one last look at the sad figure in the mirror and took a shower.

"Why, if I may ask, are you sitting comfortably, with a cup of tea on the couch reading newspaper, when we're already late?" I asked Liam surprised when I, along with jacket and shoes but with wet hair, stood in the living room. There's no time to dry my hair, Lou can do this. "Actually, we have more than an hour until Paul picks us up. I had to lie to you, otherwise you'd never crawled out of your hole." He said in a sober tone, without looking up from the newspaper. I had to agree with him. "Well then there's still enough time for breakfast." I said. Liam grumbled in agreement. I hung my coat back into the dressing room and went back into the bathroom to tame my hair.

"Oh damn I forgot my cell phone in my room." "Hurry up, I'll wait outside." Liam ran upstairs, I walked through the entrance hall and stepped outside. I looked around and couldn't see Paul or the car anywhere but there stood a woman in front of the house. Apparently she wanted to leave but stopped as she saw me coming out of the house. Now I'm already starting to see ghosts. I'm sure I'm dreaming she can't stand in front of my house! "Lily?" I asked hesitantly. She just opened her mouth to respond as I lost my balance. Even I fell down the stairs and landed on the hard asphalt. I raised my head to see what this had been and saw that Lily stood directly above me and looked at me worried. She looks cute with little worry lines on her forehead. "Ouch." Moaned something that lay on top of me. I looked down at myself and saw Liam, who just straightened up and rubbed his elbow. "Why are you standing in front of the door?" "Why are you running around like a madman?" I replied and stood up, only then I felt a slight twinge in my right foot. "Is it bad?" Liam asked, now worried, as I grimaced. "Probably just sprained, it'll be okay." I reassured him and put weight on it again. Doesn't hurt that much. "Since when is Lily here?" He asked, looking puzzled back and forth between me and her. Lily stood behind me and looked at me still quite worried. "Oh well ... umm ... I'm probably the reason why Louis was standing in front of the door." She said in a low, timid voice. "Why are you here?" I asked. "Louis sometimes you ask seldom stupid questions." Liam laughed and went to pull Lily into a hug. "Good to see you, please tell me you are here because of this fool." He whispered in her ear. "Hey, I've heard this," I complained. Lily giggled, Liam let go of her and stood beside her. "If not, then I am at your disposal and I swear I'm not such a moron." He said softly to her and had a glance at myself all the time. "Liam! You have Danielle!" shouted Lily and I shocked. Liam looked as if someone had slapped him. We looked at each other and burst out laughing. "Thanks for reminding me, I would not trade her against anyone, I'm sorry Lily." Liam apologized and winked at her. "That's all right just as I wouldn't exchange him, even if he's a little idiot sometimes." She said, grinning and pointing at me.

"Are you serious?" She immediately blushed and looked down. "My plan was actually that I talk to you about everything and might forgive you your little lie. But the truth is the first thing I thought of, when you fell over, was that I don't want to be without you." She paused and looked at me. "I also don't care how much money you have and how famous you are, the only thing I want to know from you is whether you're the one I got to know." I was speechless and just nodded. A smile spread across her face and I saw tears gathered in her eyes. "I hope this are tears of joy this time." I said and Lily laughed, quickly wiped with her sleeve over her eyes. I took her hand in mine and pulled her close to me. "Thank you for coming here and telling me that."I whispered in her ear. I looked at her and her beautiful green eyes shone with happiness, our faces were only inches apart. I slowly clasped her waist and pulled her closer, I closed my eyes and lowered my lips.
