I still lay there in the grass, just as she had left me. I don't understand the world anymore. I slowly let the evening pass in review. But I can't find one disagreement and I had no idea what I had done to expel her. Was I so terrible? I asked myself the question. I let the half-full bottle of wine and the tray there in the gras and went in a trance to the others.

"Whoa what happened?" Zayn asked me horrified now I was with the boys. "Why?" I said in a feeble voice. "Because you're pale as a corpse." Harry now signed up to speak. I just stood there, unable to explain what had happened. "Hey didn't you ran around with the pretty dark-haired?" Niall quipped. He had hit the nail on the head. Apparently it also just become clear to him when he saw my sad face, because he formed his mouth in a silent O. "I think we should go, I am looking for Liam." Zayn asked firmly.

Before Liam could ask me a question I mumbled a "good night" and I had already gone in my room. The door closed behind me and I stood in the dark room. It was silly of me to believe that Lily would be seriously interested in me. I had it all messed up with this "almost- kiss". "Damn!" I swore to myself and kicked my dresser. What I regretted as soon as I hopped in pain on one foot across the room and the foot clasped with my hands, because I hoped that the pain would pass quicker. Outside the hall the light went on and I saw Liam's shadow lingered in front of my door, but then disappeared in the direction of his room. Depleted because of the incident with Lily and tired of wine, I let myself fall into bed with all my clothes on. I immediately fell into a dreamless sleep.

Oh, God! I felt as if a herd of rampaging rhinos was running over me. No wonder! I had just woken up in the same position as I fell into bed last night. I kinda rolled off the bed because every move was not really pleasant. Finally, I had attracted me a more comfortable pants and a t-shirt, when my cell phone was ringing. Harry. He had posted a photo of himself and Ed at the party yesterday. The party. Lily. I stared at the phone. I didn't even have her number. Well done Tomlinson! Sarcasm says hello. To distract me, I scrolled down threw a few messages from our fans. Meanwhile I walked into the living room and sat myself down on the couch. I carelessly tossed the phone next to me, because I was still mad at myself.

When I had carelessly zapped through the channels for a long time, I got up to make me something to eat. I glanced at the clock we had hanging over the dining table. It was seen already after 10 o'clock, and far and wide no Liam around. "Liam!" I yelled through the apartment. Nothing. No answer. When I walked into the hallway I saw his door was open, but no trace of him. He will probably be jogging or something like that, I 'll call him later.

My mind wandered to Lily when I ate one of Liam's muffins and studied the latest football results in the paper. What is she doing right now? She probably tried to wash out the stains from her cocktail dress. As I thought of how she had stood there like a drowned rat and hasn't lost her humor I had to smile. "At least you're feeling better today that's great." I distributed the remains of the muffin in the kitchen and knocked over my tea. "Liam ! You can't scare me like that!" I felt shocked and tried to limit most of the misfortune. "Here." Liam said as he threw the dishcloth to me. "That wasn't my intention, I had thought that you would have heard me when I came through the door." he tried to explain. I had removed so far everything and threw the dishcloth in the sink. Liam sat down on the opposite chair and looked at me. It felt like hours when we sat there, staring at each other. I knew exactly what he was waiting for but I didn't know what to say. "What do you want to hear?" I asked desperately. "That she is pretty, smart and funny too? That it feels like I know her for ages? The evening was just great. Oh no, I almost forgot! She just run away when I tried to kiss her." I gave myself, a little louder than I wanted, the answer. Liam just sat there and listened attentively. In that moment I was glad that he was so understanding because someone else wouldn't have tolerated this. "Oh Liam I have no idea what went wrong yesterday." I moaned and let my head fall into my hands. "Louis, I understand you somehow but you've seen her only once." he began. "Yeah I know it is from the one from the park and from the supermarket." he interrupted me to it when I opened my mouth to contradict him. Now we both had to grin. "Why it's so important that she ignored you? She is not the first girl you have no chance." "I guess I'm just not sane." I responded sluggish. I told him how Lily was like and what she was doing, that we fled through the kitchen and that she even laughed at my joke with about the view."...then she jumps up and says "I can't do this." and then she disappeared." I ended my story.
