"Meggy honey?" Megan's mom poked her head in through her door. “There are two...” She paused, smiled at her daughter and continued “Boys, at the door to see you.” She winked at her and hurried to the back room.

Megan sighed and walked to the door. She called back to her mom. "Stop calling me Meggy!" She hated that nickname more than anything, but her parents refused to stop calling her that. She wasn't surprised that her mom had been so excited when two boys showed up. She always wanted her to be popular with the boys. She wanted her to get married, even if Megan wanted to devote her whole life to singing and cooking.

She pulled open the door and stopped short when she saw Liam and Zayn. What were they doing here?

“Hi, Liam and Zayn.” She saw they had terrified expressions on their face. “What’s wrong? Did something happen?”

Liam opened and closed his mouth a few times. He couldn’t help it. He didn’t know how to explain what had just happened. Zayn talked for him. “We... We had a little bit of an.. Umm... Encounter with... Something from the other side.” He knew he sounded crazy, but he didn’t know any other way to word it.

Megan didn’t know what to say. She knew exactly what they were talking about, but she didn’t know how to help them. The only way she knew how to get them to stop being scared was to let them explain everything, and trick them into thinking it was all a scan set up by stupid fans or annoying paparazzi trying to get pictures of them being scared.

“Come in, come in.” She ushered them into her room. “Tell me what happened.”

~~~~~~~An hour later~~~~~~
She was devastated. The ghost man had lied to her and made a fool of her, even if nobody else knew what she had agreed to do. He went to the boys. He talked to them. Told them things about her.
The worst part was, Drew had come up, but she didn’t want to talk to them about that. She didn’t want to know how much they knew about what had happened that horrible night. She didn’t want to know what else they knew too. She just hopped they had no idea of her secret power...
“So, a man..” She began. “A ghost man.” Zayn interrupted her. Liam shot him a half-hearted look of disappointment. He wasn’t one for rudeness, but he was really scared by what had just happened he couldn’t be bothered to get mad at him. He hadn't said a single word since he had gotten to Megan's. Zayn had to explain everything.
Megan corrected herself. "Sorry. So a ghost man came to your cottage?" She hated lying, but she knew it was time for it. "Are you sure it wasn't a prank? Like, set up by fans or paparazzi to get pictures of you scared?"
Liam still couldn't speak. He just looked helplessly at the floor. Megan wanted to run to over to him and hug him to death. He just looked so sad. Zayn spoke up. "It couldn't have been. H-He knew so much!"
Megan racked her brain for a use-able excuse to this. Luckily she had had twitter for a long time. "Well, Remember last year, on Niall's nineteenth birthday? He couldn't remember what time he was born, and he tweeted about it, and some girl corrected him."
"She knew what time he was born, and he didn't. Fans can find out a lot of things about you guys, just be reasearching." They just can't find your phone numbers.... She thought. Hey, while this was going on, she could still try and snag a phone number or two!
"True..." Liam spoke for the first time. "It could have been a stupid joke." He smiled, having a reasonable explanation. But Zayn still wasn't satisfied. "Well, how did he know so much about you? He told us all about Drew, who we didn't even find out about until a few minutes before." As soon as he uttered those words, he slapped his hand over his mouth, and Liam's eyes went wide. They had promised not to mention that part, only the part of his naming coming up.
