When we get to auradon evie, mal, and I all get out of the limo with fake smiles. Carlos and jay however fall out as they argue over something from the car. "Leave it where you found it. And by that I mean just leave it." A woman tell them and I giggle slightly earning a smile from the boy next to her. Jay tosses it back in the car and stands up next to me awkwardly. "Hello I'm the fairy godmother." The woman greets with an enthusiastic grin. "As in bippity boppity boo?" Mal asks from beside me. "Bippity boppity you know it." FG replies and I zone out after that. When I refocus 'prince' ben as audrey said is shaking our hands. He gets to me and a load of emotions wash over his face. But he smiles widely and I feel my heart skip a few beats before he lets go and greets mal. Audrey glares at me and I turn and nudge evie. She shakes her head at me and smiles.
Ben leads us to the garden. There's a statue of ben's father in the center of it. Ben claps and it morphs into the beast. Carlos yelps and jumps into jay's arms, as I teasingly make a heart with my hands for them. Jay drops carlos as ben explains, "Carlos relax, my dad wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything's possible." "Does he shed much?" Mal and I ask in unison. "Yeah mom doesn't let him on the couch." He answers seriously. I giggle and mal smiles. "hey, you're the daughter of maleficent right? You know? I don't blame your mother for trying to kill my parents or anything." "My mom is..." "sleeping beauty." mal says. "And you know, I totally don't blame your grandparents for inviting everyone in the land except my mother to your mother's christening." mal says with a fake smile on her face. "Water under the bridge?" Audrey asks."Totes." Mal replies. While they're having their staredown, I feel a sudden sense of deja vu. I get a rush of chills and a pounding headache so I lean up against jay. Suddenly I'm no longer with the group
*Flashback*
"Rosie look, dad's statue is almost finished." A small boy says as he drags a little girl along. "Benji I don't like the statue. It's big and scary." The little girl tells him. "Don't worry rosie, dad's statue is harmless, it's to remind you that anything's possible." The little boy assures her.
*End of flashback*
"Mels are you okay?" I hear mal's voice in worry. "Uhh, who's rosie?" I groan out. Mal and the others stare at me in confusion, ben's expression seems sad, and audrey crosses her arms and grimaces. "Come on smelly melly, I've got ya." Jays says as he crouches down and scoops up my legs so that he's giving me a piggyback ride. "Thanks jay bird." I say and snuggle into him. "Are you okay mel?" Mal asks and I nod. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asks again. "I'm fine mal, just cause I'm small doesn't mean I'm not durable." I remind her. "I know mel, but I'm your big sister, I have to worry about you." She says with a soft smile. Ben leads us to the entrance of the dormitories where a guy named doug greets us. "If you need anything feel free to-" "-Tell doug," audrey cuts ben off with and then drags him away. Mal and the gang make their way to their dorms.
"Mel we had to put you in a dorm with another girl since there were no other rooms available. Doug says as he leads me to a room. "It's across from your sister and friend." He tells me and knocks on the door. "As long as it's not audrey, I'm fine with sharing a dorm." I tell him with a nervous smile. "Oh no, she has her own room because she demands privacy." Doug says with a serious look on his face. The door swings open and a black haired, green eyed girl, holding a paintbrush stands in the doorway with a huge grin.
