~Aaron Carpenter Imagine~

*Aaron's POV*

I was downstairs in the kitchen doing the dishes because Acaysia was upstairs in the bathtub. She is 9 months pregnant and her due date is less than a week away. She has been in lots of pain lately but its not time yet. Her water hasn't broken. Her mood swings are ridiculous but I'm not complaining because I already knew what I would have to put with.

She's also been very nervous about the whole giving birth thing. She's always wanted to have a baby but she is scared of giving birth to the baby, if you get what I mean?

Anyways, every once and a while I have to remind her that everything will be okay because she is really scared.

So, I'm doing the dishes and all of a sudden I hear a thud come from upstairs. I immediately turn off the water, dry off my hands and run upstairs to the bathroom.

I open the door and see that she is lying on the floor on her side.

"Baby!" I run to her and help her off of the ground. "What happened? Are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?"

She giggles a little. "I'm alright, Aaron. Calm down. I just slipped."

She stands up without her clothes on and grabs my hands so that I could help her into the tub.

"Babe, you could've hurt yourself." I sighed.

"I know." She says as she sits down and the bubbles cover her body.

"But you're okay, right?" I ask.

"I'm good, babe." She laughs. "But I'd be even better if you came in here with me."

"I've got to finish the dishes, sweetie."

"So the stupid dishes are more important than you're wife?" She folded her arms.

I smile and start taking off my clothes. Once I am completely undressed, I step carefully into the tub and sit behind her.

I kiss her neck and whisper in her ear. "Nothing is more important than you."

She leans her head back and I kiss her pink lips.

"So," I start "how are you feeling?"

She sighs and lays her head on my chest. "Fine."

I wrap my arms around her round belly and rub it. "Baby, are you sure?"

She shrugs. "Pregnancy jitters."

"I promise you'll be fine." I remind her.

"Everyone says that, though. And they don't realize what I have to go through in like the next few days. Hell, it could happen today, tomorrow, the day after that, who knows?"

"Acaysia, what specifically are you afraid of?"

"I'm afraid for my health and the baby's." She places her hands over mines.

"But you don't have to worry about that." I tell her. "You're perfectly healthy and I definitely know that the baby will be. We're fine."

Her voice cracks. "But what if labor doesn't go well for me? What if they do something wrong? What if the baby comes out wrong?"

I grab her hand and kiss it. "Shhhh. Caysia, you're just freaking yourself out more. Dont jinx things like that, its not good."

"I'm sorry."

"Its alright. Everything is going to go perfect. I promise, Acaysia."

"Thank you." She turns her head and smiles at me. "I love you."

"I love you more."

Two days later, Acaysia went into labor and gave birth to a beautiful, brown eyed baby boy by the chosen name of Michael Aaron Carpenter. And just like her husband had said, everything went perfectly fine.
