OKAY GUYS I KNOW DARYL ISNT LIKE "DARYL" IN THE SHOW. BUT I DIDNT WANT HIM TO BE LIKE THAT 100%
I wake up slowly. I can feel the Georgia heat already hitting me. It makes me kick off my blankets. I rub my sleepy eyes before slipping on my shoes and stepping out to the rest of the group. I quickly put my hair up in a high pony tail. I walk over to an empty log before sitting down. Carol hands me a plate of food, I nod with a smile as a thank you.
"Good morning." Shane sits next to me.
I give him a quick smile, "Hey."
"So we are thinking about heading to the CDC. Do you think it is a good idea?" He ask. I am quite surprised. No one really cared what I thought or cared to ask what I thought.
"Yeah maybe they are working on something. They did say they will work til the end." I inform.
"Yeah. But it is a long shot." He reasons.
"Yes that is true. But we don't know when another attack could happen here. If the CDC doesn't turn out to be what we thought we could find new shelter. Maybe not an official one but something for a short term." I also try to reason.
Shane locks his eyes with mine, "You should speak up. Your ideas are good." He stands up, he rubs my back before he leaves. I smile down at my plate before taking a bite of the meat I was handed. I look up to see Lori walking over to me, she looks pissed.
"What do you think you are doing?" She asks angrily.
"What?" I ask confuse, I furrow my eyebrows.
"First you flirt with Rick then Daryl then Shane." She yells.
"I guess our definition of flirting are opposite then, because I don't think having a conversation is flirting." I stand up. I throw my plate on the log.
"Well, you stay up late with Rick. Slept with Daryl." She began making a list.
"I did not sleep with Daryl! I was new I didn't know where to sleep so I sat outside and Rick saw and he told me I could sleep in Daryl's tent!" I yell back. All the other conversations stopped. It was Lori and I that were putting on the show. "And why would you care if I was. Rick, I get that. But you must be fucking all of them to get this worked up.''
"You bitch." She curses before she swings her arm, connecting her fist with my cheek. I stumble back, I am more than angry now. I regain my balance before punching Lori in the cheek, and pushing her down.
I wrap my hands around her throat. "Touch me again, I dare you." I get off of her and turn to the group. Rick is looking at me with pure anger. Shane has a pissed look but humor dances in his eyes. Daryl is having fun as he chuckles silently to himself. Everyone else had the same shock expression written on their faces. I storm off to the tent I am staying in.
I pace around the tent. I can not go back to that dark place I was once in. I begin to throw my things in my bag. I pull my hair as I let out a tear. I quickly wipe it away when I hear the tent unzip. It is Daryl.
"That was pretty funny out there." He admits. I gave him a small half- smile. "It is about time someone tells that bitch to shut up."
I let out a laugh, "Thanks."
"Why would she think those things?" He asks.
"I don't know." I shrug. Daryl looks behind me and sees my bag packed.
"You leaving." He states. However it also sounds like a question.
"Obviously I don't belong here. Lori hates me, Rick hates me, Carl will too. Shane is pissed. Everyone else will not look at me." I shrug.
