A/N : Brief lemon warning
Your eyes fluttered open as fingers traced the bare skin on your back. Trailing down your spine and back up to circle the tattoo on your left shoulder blade. You shuddered feeling his gaze on you for an extended period of time.
"Having fun?" you murmured turning your head against your pillow to glance at your greenette.
"Couldn't sleep." he answered, now drawing invisible lines over the tattoo itself.
"So you woke me up?"  you chuckled as his brown eye shifted to look at your face.
An apologetic smile upturned his lips, "Sorry, I couldn't help it. I never asked, but I was wondering when you got this. It looks just like Marco's."
"You're lucky I love keeping you company." you smirked shifting your body to completely face him, "The three eldest have the same tattoo. Thatch's is on his hip and is the same size as mine, but Marco had to show off and get a massive one that took like six hours."
"How'd the old man feel about it? Didn't he not like tattoos?"
"It's not that he didn't like them." you began to explain, "This was the former logo for Newgate Industries. It was reimaged when I was away in college."
"Why'd he get so mad when Ace got his then?"
"Ah, you've heard that story? Because," you started with a chuckle, "that idiot snuck out when he was fifteen and got the one on his upper left arm at some scratcher's place. He tried to hide it but it got infected. I had come home for a visit and found him with a fever. Marco and I had to take him to the E.R. Pops was furious when he got better, but couldn't stay mad long given the sentiment."
Zoro scoffed, "Spelling your name wrong doesn't seem very sentimental."
"Poor Ace," you laughed, "It isn't actually his name but rather and acronym of sorts. It's meant to represent the three youngest and Pops."
He looked at you confused, "If that's the case Luffy isn't represented, right?"
"Well, he used to be sort of a crybaby after I left for school. My poor baby, the brunt of his brother's trolling in the form of a tattoo."
"Wow," Zoro snorted, "it all makes sense now. How old were you when you got yours?"
"Pops took Marco and I for our respective eighteenth birthdays. It was sort of a right of passage."
"When you say it like that it makes you sound like a gang." he slipped his left arm under his pillow.
"Not so much a gang, we liked to say family." you smirked watching him process what you were saying.
"Well, now it sounds like a mafia." he let out a short laugh dismissing your insinuation.
"Don't worry Tiger, it was only temporary." you caressed his cheek.
His eye widened for a moment, "You're joking."
"I'm not sure I'm capable of jokes at four in the morning."
"So, your family business was a family business?" he raised a brow.
"I hope that isn't a deal breaker," you rolled onto your stomach propping yourself up on your elbows, "it's not like we were out there killing people."
"What kind of business was it then?"
"Mostly protection in certain neighborhoods. Some money laundering, nothing crazy." you shrugged, "Pops went legit when I was a college freshman, I didn't really have much to do with it."
"For the record I don't anything could be a deal breaker at this point." he murmured quietly.
"Becuse you love me, Tiger?" you teased turning toward him.
He stared at you for a few moments the answer to your rhetorical question written all over his face, accentuated by a pale blush you almost couldn't see in the darkness. The longer he looked at you the harder your heart pounded.
"Yeah." he finally replied in a gruff whisper.
"Y-you do?" you croaked.
"Uh, for a while." he shifted rubbing his nape.
His genuine answer has been so adorably bashful and honest, you felt bad for basically tricking him into admitting it.
Zoro's face was hot with embarrassment. He knew you were joking but seemed unable to go along without just stating what he was sure was obvious. Now it felt as if time slowed down, you'd gotten your confirmation in a round about way, but where was his?
Your sudden touch as you slid closer pulled him from his thoughts. He couldn't help but chuckle as you placed kisses all over his face.
"I love you too, Tiger," you continued your sweet assault, "very much."
In a matter of seconds your innocent kisses took a more passionate turn. Seductively you slid your leg over his hips rolling him to onto his back. His hands immediately roamed up your bare thighs.
"Round two?" he chuckled between smooches.
"If it'll get you to go back to sleep."you smirked sliding yourself against his slightly firm length.
He shivered raising to gain more contact as his digits dug into your thighs. You sighed contently lining yourself up and pushing him into your warmth. A soft huff left his lips watching you sit up and roll your hips. Placing your hand on his chest to steady yourself, you picked up your pace.
Lust glazing over his eye, he admired every exposed inch of you as you bounced and jiggled above him. An alluring smile bent your lips seeing his reaction. As you lowered yourself to kiss his lips he wrapped his arms around you firmly pressing your chest to his.
"Zoro ~" you half squeaked half moaned as he rolled you over and attacked your neck.
He hummed continuing to rock into you at a steady speed. It was common now for him to keep you close. Honestly you preferred this proximity, it made you feel loved. All of his affection was easily transferrable while he had you pinned to his mattress.
Soon your legs began to quiver as you softly called his name. Burying his face in your shoulder he delivered your release and brought on his own.
"Think you can sleep now?" you panted running your fingers through his hair while he rested on you.
Loud fake snores rumbled against your sweaty chest as you chuckled and gently pushed him.
"At least get back on the bed," you whined, "it's so hot."
He rose above you a cocky smirk up turning his perfect lips before swiftly kissing you.
                              "Goodnight, Bun."
"Night, Tiger."

"Where are you off to in such a rush, yoi?" your older brother asked stepping into the elevator after you and pressing the button for the lobby.
You turned quickly tossing him a smile, "Meeting up with Zoro for dinner. You came in late today, so unlike you."
"Last I checked I didn't have a schedule to keep and you weren't the boss of me." he crossed his arms lazily glancing down at you.
"Oh, so standoffish today my sweet Pineapple." you tapped his cheek gently, "I hope you had a fun night out with whoever she is."
"I was at home." he protested glaring at you with a slight blush.
"Aha! Lies!" you accused wagging your finger in his face, "I was actually home last night and you weren't. It's good that you stopped by the house to clean up and change clothes though."
An annoyed sigh left his lips as the elevator doors opened to let new passengers in. Your attention shifted with Marco's gaze toward a gorgeous brunette entering the small space. Her amber eyes darted between you lingering a bit longer on your brother before she abruptly nodded and turned her back to you. Slowly you glanced back up at him as his blue eyes remained locked on the employee. To anyone else he would seem aloof as always but you knew him much better than most, though his expression was stoic there was definitely an intense interest lighting that cyan gaze.
"Anyway... I was only saying I hope you had a good time," you smirked, "you deserve it."
"Yes, of course I did, yoi." he muttered through gritted teeth before thumping your head, "Have fun on your date."
As he finished his sentence the doors opened to your desired floor. The attractive brunette sashayed away while your brother broke off in a different direction. Something definitely seemed to be going on there.
After a short drive you arrived at your usual diner to meet your boyfriend. He could be easily spotted from the entrance sitting at the bar waiting. You climbed onto the empty stool to his left and tussled his hair messing it in all directions.
"Hey, Tiger, sorry I'm a little late."
As he turned to greet you a voice piped up from the person to his right.
"Oh, I didn't know you had an aunty," an irrefutable beauty sat leaning against your boyfriend, her big blue eyes studied you for a moment before shifting back to Zoro, "it's cute that you meet up with her for dinner."
