You were on your stomach propped up on your elbows with your hair pulled over your face. Zoro, at some point had rolled to his side admiring you in the dim afternoon light that peeked through the slightly parted blackout curtains of his room. Humming a melancholy tune, you'd lost yourself in thought as you slid your finger tips through the patch of silver hair at your temple pulling it over your face.
He exhaled with a slight chuckle, "What are you doing?"
Combing your hair back into place, you smiled sheepishly, "I was wondering if I should dye it."
"Because there's more?" he asked rather bluntly.
"You noticed that?" you blushed looking down at the sheets.
"I notice most things." he tipped your chin up to bring your gaze back up to his, "What's the matter?"
"It's nothing." you fibbed and nuzzled his palm.
"Was it what Hiyori said? Really, she's just trying to get a rise out of you. It's entertaining to her."
"No, Nami gave me more information about her. I'm not so bothered."
"You know I could have told you. Were you afraid I'd lie about it?" his voice was calm and low with a slight indication of wounded feelings.
"No Tiger, I know you wouldn't hide things from me." you sighed softly, "The boys brought it up and things were so awkward already. I'm sorry I didn't give you a chance to explain."
"It's alright." he leaned forward to kiss the streak of hair you were fretting over, "Tell me what's bothering you, I know it isn't nothing."
Your lips puckered into a pout as your eyes flitted away from his, "That girl that asked for your number at the park. I could hear her conversation with her friend before she walked up to us, and honestly it isn't the first time I've heard something like that."
His brows knit, "What do you mean?"
"Commenting on how attractive you are and noticing you're with an old lady."
"You know you aren't an old lady." he frowned.
"Yeah," you smiled softly, "I know. But that's how people see me I guess. Maybe it's stupid to be worried about how we're perceived."
"I don't particularly care what other people think."
"I know I shouldn't care either, it gets hard with better options just offering themselves up to you." you tried to manage a joking tone - but it fell flat.
He pulled you close forcing you to share his pillow as he stared into your eyes with a very serious expression, "I get to decide what the better option is...and she's already in my bed."
You shifted forward nuzzling your warm face in his scarred chest.
                              "Thanks, Tiger."

"It's not fair," you sighed combing through your brother's hair as he sat on the kitchen stool in front of you,"how come you get to be older and get away without a single gray?"
"I just age well, yoi." the blond swatted you away, "Quit fucking with my hair."
You huffed and ruffled his blond locks once more.
"You spend too much time stressing and he's too laid back." Thatch commented from the stove.
"That's true." Marco agreed nonchalantly.
"What about you, Thatchy, you're older than both of us lemme see your gray." you walked up tugging the rubber band from his hair making it drop over his shoulders.
"You need to calm down." he turned snatching the band and pulling his hair back up into a messy bun, "What's the deal anyway? I thought you liked your gray hair. Isn't it a thing now for women to dye their hair silver?"
"I did, but now everyone seems to notice how much older I am than Zoro." you touched your cheek, "Maybe it's my face?"
Thatch shifted back to you with a frown as you pushed your temples into your hairline lifting your face.
"You don't have a single line anywhere." he pushed your hands down.
"I don't like what this is doing to you, yoi." Marco watched you with furrowed brows.
You sighed, "What, what's doing to me?"
"You've always had a pretty positive self image. Now all of the sudden you're worried about gray hair and wrinkles? You're not even that old." he huffed, "You're letting this relationship make you feel less than."
"It's not the relationship," you pouted, "it's everyone else."
"Marco," Thatch murmured in a warning tone.
"She's over here upset that she looks too old. I'm not gonna sit here while my sister has a psychotic break, yoi."
"I am not having a psychotic break." you protested, "Haven't you ever dated someone younger than you?"
Both men shifted and looked at each other then back at you.
"It's different for guys." Thatch answered a bit bashfully.
"Ugh." you sat on the stool next to Marco.
"Look," the blond started, "I just don't want you to be unhappy."
"I'm not though."
"What has Zoro had to say about this?" Thatch leaned over the counter.
"He said he doesn't care what people think and he doesn't want me to dye my hair." you replied resting your head in your palm.
"Then why are you so worried?" the eldest asked, "If you're both happy, then just be happy. Fuck everybody else."
"You're right." you sighed, "I dunno what's wrong with me."
"You're letting other people who don't matter influence your thought process and reactions." Sabo had entered the kitchen, "Not to say you should have blinders on, but in this case, your age isn't of anyone else's concern."
"Who let you be so smart?" you teased turning to pinch his cheek.
"We literally just said that." the eldest pouted.
"Well not so eloquently, yoi." Marco sneered.
Thatch crossed his arms over his chest.
"It sounds better when I say it." Sabo shrugged cockily.
"It's cuter." you corrected making him pout as your older brothers chuckled.
"So, you aren't going to go crazy?" Marco asked.
"And what about dying your hair?" Thatch added.
You shook your head, "No, and  it's who I am, I'll leave it."
"What about Zoro?"
You turned back to the eldest with a perplexed guise.
"You're not gonna dump him?" Marco continued for the brunette.
"Dump me?" the familiar timbre snapped your attention over Sabo's shoulder to the greenette standing over the threshold.
