Celestia walked into the meeting room. Princess Twilight, Luna, and Cadence stood in the middle looking worried. They had to be quiet, in case one of the pegasi heard the conversation. Celestia cleared her throat, and started to speak. "As you know, ten pegasi have been picked to be trained." Celestia started. Twilight started to speak, but Celestia stopped her. "Twilight, you are probably wondering what they're being trained to do." She said. "Luna and I had decided not to tell you and Cadence until the time was right. But we now think that we should tell you." Celestia looked over to her sister. Luna started to speak "There is something we never expected. Twilight, remember what Celestia talked to you about?" Twilight nodded her head. Cadence looked confused, so Twilight explained. "Celestia told me about a plan. If anything ever went wrong, we could escape through the portal, and stay there." Twilight shook her head. "But nothing was supposed to go wrong. I'm not really sure what is going on." Twilight looked over at Luna. Luna started to speak again. "We don't have all the details, but apparently a force of magic has swept upon Equestria. Ponies in the south have started to get unwell. We fear that they could die soon if not helped. We do not know how this is happening, but we can't stop it. The ten pegasi are being trained to stop the force." Twilight and Cadence stood dumbstruck. "How?!" Cried Twilight. Cadence shook her head in disbelief. "Its not possible, alicorn magic can defeat this, not ten poor pegasi!" She said. As the princesses argued, one little pegasus hid in the window curtains. He had big purple eyes that were staring at the alicorns, a peach coat that shivered when he heard the conversation. He had a dark blue mane that looked like the ocean. As he flew out of the window, shaken with fear, you could see the strange marking of a sea shell on his chest.
