Opportunity never knocks twice, and losing that opportunity is like plunging into the cold, unforgiving sea. But when someone occasionally throws you a lifeline, another chance, you hold it tight, and never let go.

(Y/n) POV
What is this place? It's so bright. Is it Brawl Town? No, the sky is too blue, and the barren desert is replaced with lush green grass, too green to be true. As I had nothing to do, I walked around. As I walked, everything came back to me. Who I was, what I have been through, and the fact I was... Dead. I remembered the sadness I had been through in the orphange, the despair I felt when I was treading through the dessert. The happiness and content I felt when I was in Brawl Town with the others, and finally, I remembered Jessie. I remembered her beutiful face, her soothing words, her warm smile. I remembered my feelings, the feelings of indescribable love to her, my stutter around her, the blushes I tried to hide so much when she talked to me, and... the pain when I confessed and had to say goodbye. Then, I saw everything from a different light. I saw that Jessie had her own blush, her own stutter, her own affection to me. I was blinded by the fact that she was out of my league, too good for me. But now, I saw that the feeling of love was mutual between us, and that we loved each other deeply but were too shy to confess. Looking back at these events, I regretted not confessing sooner, not letting her know when it was too late, and not being able to spend time with her. I regretted leaving her on her own, not having time to spend with her loved one, not having a chance to have a family on her own with her lover. But everyone has to move on, right?
Even though I understood and agreed this concept, but perhaps sense overcomes sensibility. I cried minute after minute, hour after hour, regretting leaving her. I cried until I heard the gravelly voice of an old man. "You're alright, are'nt you."

??? POV
I was walking around my domain, I saw a young man, with electric blue hair sobbing on the ground. I approched him and asked if he was alright. He then looked up, his eyes that matched his hair blood red from crying. He told me about his past, a sad one, and I already knew what I wanted to do with him since my servants alerted of his coming, but I wanted to show him some things. "Come with me."

(Y/n) POV
Well, what do I have to care for, anyway? I life without her isn't a life for me, so I ran after him, to see what he had to offer.
After walking for miles, I spotted a small hut, black in colour. "Come with me," the old man said, "that's where we are going."
When we went into the hut, and I was amazed.
The hut was way bigger in the inside than the outside. It looked a lot like thw gem mines back in Brawl Town, but instead of gems, there were bubbles of different colours with pictures, like a slideshow, in them.
"What is this place?"
"This," the man said, smiling, is the realm of memories.
The realm of memories? That's something I've never heard of!
"You see," he continued, "everyone, has memories, and they are kept in here. The persons brain doesn't have enough room to store this many memories, so they are stored in here."
"But why am I here? I'm dead." Well usually, the dead are sent to the underworld, where they are judged and put into heaven and hell. But occasionally, there are some 'special cases', and you are one of them. Let's go in and look at some memories of your friends, shall we?"
I was confused, but since I was here, I followed him.
Inside, was a peculiar room. Normally a room is a place with walls, a flat ground, lights, etc. But this one was different. This one had an uneven floor, with chairs carved into it. Instead of lights, there were reflective crystals which reflected the lights of the floating orbs around the ceiling.
I stared in amazement while I asked the old man, "What is this place?" The old man told me while smiling, "This is a room where you see memories of your own and others."

Old man POV (honestly sounds pathetic)

After saying this, I grasped one of the orbs floating around. "This," I said, "is an orb which holds thememories of everyone in your life. It tells the joy, the sorrow, all the feelings you have brought to people around you. Let's take a look, shall we?"
After that, I placed the orb on the altar of memories, and we were sucked into it.
