Arthur loved his beautiful fiancee more than life itself. He enjoyed all of the bonding time that they were having. They even re-decorated the lighthouse. His life felt perfect. But at many times Arthur felt like something was wrong with his life or that something was missing from it.
Whenever he got that feeling his loving fiancee, Mera, would fix him some warm tea and it always calmed him.
However, Arthur was not wrong to feel the way he was feeling. Mera was constantly giving Arthur a potion in his tea that kept him from remembering his REAL fiancee.
Lana.
Arthur remembered his entire past life, except the potion made him believe that it had been Mera that he had been in love with this entire time.
Since Lana was not a magical being, she only needed to be hit with the potion once.
The potion matched with the right spell made a person forget their true love and replace them with someone else.
Mera had to keep giving Arthur the potion every chance she got because since Arthur was Atlantean the potion only kept it's hold on him for so long.
Although Mera had entranced Arthur and Lana, their love was too strong to keep them apart forever.
Arthur needed a few more things to go with dinner tonight so he went to Mario's store in town.
"Hey, Mario!" shouted Arthur as he walked into the store.
"Ay! Arthur! How's it going?" Mario responded to his old friend.
"What can I say man? I'm living pretty good" Arthur smiled thinking about his new life with his fiancee.
"I know you are" Mario smiled.
"Hey, Mario, did you get us a new ladder yet?" Lana asked walking from the back room.
Arthur and Mario both looked in her direction.
"It's in the hallway doll" responded Mario.
"Okay, Thank you" Lana gave them both a small smile. At that moment Arthur and Lana's eyes connected. Lana lost her breath for a second and almost fell over. Arthur rushed over to her side and caught her.
"Are you okay" Arthur asked her looking concerned.
"Yes. I think so. I just had a really weird case of Deja vu" Lana answered.
"That's weird. I did too." Arthur responded.
Lana looked into Arthur's steel grey eyes. Her heart started beating faster. "Do I know you?"
Arthur looked at her confused "I don't think so."
"You just seem so familiar" she said.
A rush of emotions washed over the both of them.
Lana took a deep breath "Whoa, did you feel that?"
"Yeah, I did."
Lana didn't know what the hell had just happened. She did her best to shake the feeling. She stood up and brushed off her pants.
"Um, I should get back to work" she mumbled.
"Okay. Just be careful. You don't want to damage you precious cargo" Arthur pointed to Lana's stomach which looked to be about 3 months pregnant.
"Thank you" she said, "I will."
Lana walked off to the back of the store.
Mario looked towards the back of the store to make sure Lana was gone. He leaned over the counter towards Arthur "You know, she's such a smart girl. But..." he began to whisper "She doesn't remember who the father is."
Arthur furrowed his brows "Really? That is strange."
Arthur paid for his items and headed home. He decided to take the long way home. A path that he seemed very familiar to him. He went down this one street and pulled over to admire this little yellow, two-story house. 131 Oak Road. For some reason it felt good checking on the little house. He revved his motorcycle and rode on home to Mera. He was not sure why but something felt familiar about that route and that house. Lately, Arthur had felt as though his whole life was one big series of deja vu.
