"Arthur will you please stop hugging all of the bassinet covers!" Lana said shaking her head at Arthur and laughing at his silliness. He squeezed the cover set he was currently holding a little tighter and then placed it into their cart. He patted it, "I like this one the best." Lana smiled and looked at Arthur adoringly.

"I love you Arthur."

Arthur looked at Lana and smiled. He caressed her hand with his. "I love you too Lana." Then he looked around the baby store with wide eyes, "Let's look for clothes next." Lana looked at Arthur and frowned slightly. "We can't shop for clothes until we know what we're having. And we won't find that out for at least another month."

Arthur and Lana had not seen or heard from Mera in more than a month. While they were still on high alert for her possible return they decided that it was best to try to move on from what Mera put them through.

"I'm just so excited babe! If I'm being completely honest I never thought that I would be able to have kids. You know with the half atlantean thing and all." Arthur admitted to Lana. She grabbed him and pulled his large body up to her. "Well it happened baby. We're pregnant. And you are going to be a great dad to this boy or girl." Arthur smiled and placed his hand on her stomach. "I think it's going to be a boy." Lana laughed and shook her head, "How do you know that?" "I just have that feeling."

Arthur and Lana looked at each other and smiled. Suddenly Lana's stomach began to light up slightly with a blue glow underneath the skin. Lana looked down shocked and Arthur immediately put his jacket over her. Lana gave Arthur a thankful look. "We should probably check out now." Arthur just nodded and walked with Lana to the register. They paid for their baby items and left the store.

Once they were inside the car, Lana frowned a little as she grabbed her stomach. Arthur looked over and reached out for her. "Is everything okay?" Lana nodded. "I think it's just a little stomach ache." Arthur frowned. "Are you sure? Are you having contractions?" Lana looked at Arthur with a 'seriously' look. "No silly. I think I just ate too much earlier. Let's get home so I can lay down for a little while." "Okay." Arthur started the car and began to drive back to the lighthouse. Lana squirmed in her seat a little, looking uncomfortable. Then she burped. As she burped, a large bubble floated out of her mouth.

"Was that a....?" Arthur asked confused. Lana looked at him and nodded. "A bubble? Yeah, it was." She looked down at her stomach and then back at Arthur. "Do you think this is a side effect from your atlantean side?" Arthur gripped the steering wheel tight and stared straight out the windshield. "Arthur? Hello? Did you hear me?" "Huh? Oh, I'm not sure. But let's get you home so that you can lay down and rest." Lana nodded in agreeance.

They made it back to the lighthouse and Arthur carried Lana inside. He laid her down on the couch and walked to the back to put up the babies items. He took a moment for himself before walking back into the living room. He was scared. Scared of what could happen to Lana while she carried his magical baby. This wasn't the first time that the baby caused her stomach to light up while in public. And now the bubbles. What if she isn't able to carry this baby full term? What if the magic in the baby is too much for her to handle? What if this baby kills her?

He shut his eyes and tried to shut out the thoughts that were running through his mind. He took a deep breath and walked back out to the living room. Lana had already fallen asleep on the couch. He covered her with the blanket hanging on the back of the couch and kissed her forehead. His eyes blinked rapidly as he fought the tears that tried to emerge from the thoughts of losing Lana. He knew he would have to eventually go to Atlantis to find out more information about this pregnancy. He couldn't lose Lana, but he didn't want to lose their baby either.
