I sit and cry. Curled in a ball in a corner. I felt my way around the room earlier. There is no light for me to see around at all. I rub my belly. Joseph has kicked non stop since I got here. How long I've been here I cannot say. I haven't slept. I have barely eaten. My son will be born in this hell hole. I cry harder thinking about it. "Somebody let me out of here please!" I sob. "Mommy?" I hear. It sounds like Alice. "Alice? Honey where are you?" "Mommy come get me," she cries. "I'm coming sweetie," I say and stand up. I walk around the room until she screams. "I'm sorry sweetie, I didn't see you," I tell her. "Mommy where are we?" She asks me. "I don't know, when did you get here?" "Not too long ago," she says. She sniffles and I hug her to me. "Daddy is looking for us," she tells me. "He has the police and everyone looking." "Daddy will find us Alice. Don't worry," I tell her. "How long have I been here?" I ask her, hoping she knows the answer. "Almost a month mommy. Two more until Joseph is born," she explains. I start to cry even more. My baby will be born here if Josh doesn't find us soon. "Mommy it's okay," she tells me. "I know sweetie, it will be when daddy finds us," I sob. Alice hugs me as I hug her. Joseph seems to quit kicking when Alice hugs me. He feels safe. I guess. I just hope Carter doesn't come back. I haven't seen him in a while. Alice told me he hit her again. I cried even more when she told me. I just want this nightmare to end.
