I waited for BFF/N to be done with her makeup. I leaned against the door and looked down at my shoes. I mentally traced the shoe laces over and over again. I didn't realize I was dozing off until BFF/N snapped her fingers in my face.
"Hello? You awake?" She asked, waving her hands in my face. I smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I didn't realize I was falling asleep." She gave me a smile. I looked at her outfit. She was wearing a blue skater dress with a white blazer (for women, don't get confused) with tall black boots.
I looked back up at her face and rose a brow. "What?" She asked, pretending she had no idea why I was looking at her like that. "Who are you trying to impress?" I asked with a sly smile making its way onto my face. She puffed out her cheeks and looked down. "Is it obvious...?"She mumbled.
I laughed. "Yeah, it kind of is." She didn't move. "I mean... you know he's an evil scientist, right? I highly doubt he would have any feelings besides... evil feelings." I stated. BFF/N gave me an, 'you're not helping, shut up.' look. I shrugged and started my way outside.
"Where do they live again?" I asked, looking at all the street signs. "On Error road. It's a big hat mansion, kinda like Black Hat's hat, so you can't miss it." She said, turning the corner. I followed her and noticed a massive hat in the distance. "That?" I asked, pointing at it. BFF/N squealed in excitement. So... I'm taking that as a yeah. We stepped in front of a twisty black fence with spikes on the ends.
"So much for a secret layer..." I mumbled. BFF/N only shrugged and opened the gate. We took a step into the yard and all these weapons came from the mansion and surrounded us. I was surprised, sure, but I had been used to the impact of most of these items, thanks to Mother and Father. BFF/N on the other hand, was scared shitless.
The lazers started shooting at us. I grabbed onto BFF/N and covered her from the impact. I felt my back and arms hurt and drip a warm substance I was well used to. I felt my eyes tear up, but I was so used to pain now it wasn't really anything to me. A massive chainsaw came our way after the lazers stopped shooting.
I shielded BFF/N by spreading my arms out and squeezing my eyes shut. "Y/N!" BFF/N yelled, trying to move me. I wouldn't budge. I heard the chainsaw get louder by the second. Then I heard nothing at all. I thought I was dead, until I heard a male speak.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry I forgot about you guys coming here!" I opened my eyes and saw Flug standing a few inches away from me. It made me uncomfortable at the closeness, but I didn't move. I put my arms down and stared at him. "Usually we don't get visitors and I thought it was just some more dumbasses that wanted to get onto our land," I nodded, urging him to continue. "That is until Black Hat yelled at me to check if was you guys, then I panicked. I'm so sorry." He said, apologizing again. I gave him a small smile, but I was a bit pissed off.
