I went straight to the pharmacy and bought the pregnancy test as soon as it was time for Jimin and his friends to go home.
I told him I needed to get some personal care from there and he didn't mind.
I never told him about what I may have witnessed at the hospital so I didn't say much to him and never said and was going to go to buy a test either.
Afterward, I went by Regina's place and told him goodnight as we gave hugs and went our own way.
Few steps into the door of her place, Regina runs to me with a grin to go and hug me tight as I jumped.
"Y/N!"
I feel so awkward around her.
"Missed you."
"I was gone for a few hours was I really gone for that long?"
Regina nods and pouts when her arms were around me.
I sighed with a smirk.
"Something is up, Y/N. Did anything happen?"
I nodded while my tears began to form.
"Big news..."
"Taehyung and his wife had a baby, a healthy baby boy."
Regina's mouth became wide open once she heard this amazing news between Taehyung and his wife.
"Oh good grief, what was his name? Who does look like more? Did you get to hold him?"
I nodded again.
"Yes, I did he was a handsome little pumpkin he was... takes the look after his father once he opened his eyes. H... his name is... is Kim Do Byeol by the way. I couldn't stop... "
After a minute of avoiding an awkward hug from Regina, I finally gave in and sobbed my emotions out.
Sobbing in joyousness.
Miracles do exist.
"He w... was so... adorable."
"Are you ok Y/N? You're sure are acting funny from seeing a child."
"You haven't been yourself for the past few months. You're become very moody, refusing to eat certain foods, and you seem pretty small. Like you lost a lot of waits."
She questions.
"Are you anorexic?"
"What?! No! Are you crazy?"
She then shrugs her shoulders.
"You really need to stop watching Lifetime Movies."
She then grows pink in embarrassment at my remark and afterward, she gasped.
"What?"
I asked.
"Did you go to the pharmacy?"
"Uh, yeah?"
"Did you buy the test?"
She then folds her arms in suspicion.
I nodded.
"Good. You should go to the bathroom and check if it is positive or not."
"Huh?"
Regina roughly guides me to her bathroom and tells me to test if I was pregnant or not in the span of five minutes.
And as the minutes were up, I shared the results to her.
"What does it say?"
12 weeks later...
It's been since I told Regina that I was pregnant, she was so elated to hear the incredible news.
During the same time, Austin had to go back to Japan to fix some important issue that was pertaining to dealing complications.
So I was kinda relieved that he wouldn't be here to noticed my pregnancy.
"You haven't told Jimin about this yet?"
I sighed.
"Sadly, and Austin doesn't know either, he went back to Japan."
We were sitting at the dinner table thinking of a way on what to say to him.
Jimin is going through a lot with his company and the burden with Mina being with my husband is another.
Things are going so challenging for him.
So during the time, I stopped coming by him to gave some space to process in his life.
"Why haven't you?"
"I'm afraid to tell him."
"I know he has been going through a lot since Austin left to Japan, but he can't take the secrets and lies that he once trusted anymore either."
She continues.
"It's the right time to tell him before it's too late, or worse, lose hope on you. Never forget that he loves you and trusts you dear to his heart."
Then apparently, I started to get a strange vision.
"He never gave up on you since he first met you, he'll never forget you. You are forever his half. And now you are carrying his child..."
A vision which is now my memories coming back.
The memories of Jimin giving me the black umbrella in the rainy city, the time we both went to the Gwangju historical site, Busan beach, at the bridge.
When we first held hands, the way we kissed, the way we hugged.
When we sang together to Now or Never by Halsey in his car on the sunny day close to Ilsan.
And then the accident.
Then darkness.
Then me laying the hospital.
Were these the events that Jimin was talking about?
Was I really there with him before Austin?
All of this before Austin?
I go to my room to my bed to relieve the tension and took a few breaths.
