Chapter 5 - Kikyo

You saw a lady walk in with long black hair. She was wearing a white shirt with long baggy red pants and held a bow and arrow. 

"Naraku!" She screamed. 

"Ah, Kikyo. How lovely to see you." Naraku said. She walked up to him. 

Where is the Shikon no Tama?" She asked in a demanding voice. 

'Jewel of the Four Souls?' You thought as Naraku shrugs.

"It was taken by Inuyasha. I will get it back." Naraku said. Kikyo glared and him, getting an arrow ready and aimed it at him. 

"I was just with Inuyasha. Where is it?" She asked. Naraku looked at her in the eye. 

"I don't know." He said. You saw she was about to release the arrow but you stood up and stood in front of Naraku. Kikyo stopped.

"Please stop! He is telling the truth!" You said. Kikyo glare at you, moved the arrow and releace it. You froze, feeling it fly by you. you then feel a small pain and put your hand to your cheek, moving it and you see blood. 

"I don't care what kind of creation he has made but do not get in my way girl." Kikyo said. You began to shake but Naraku stood and grabbed Kikyo by the throat. 

"Do not harm her. She is a human, not one of my creations." Naraku said and let her go. Kikyo, who seemed un-fazed by what happened. 

"Then keep her in line or she will be dead. Now where is it?" Kikyo asked. Naraku nodded. 

"I sent it with Kagura to my next castle. It's in the east. We will be going soon." Naraku said. Kikyo turned and walked away. Naraku then turned but saw you on the ground, shaking. He walked up to you. 

"You did very good. I knew she wouldn't be able to see the shard when it was with you." He said and put a hand under your chin and moved your head so he could look at your cheek. 

"It's not to bad. You will heal just fine." Naraku said and let you go. You nodded before looking at him. He threw you a small rag and you wiped the blood from your cheek, seeing it wasn't as bad as it felt. 

"Naraku?" You asked. He looked at you as he sat down. 

"What did she mean by she wouldn't see the shard?" You asked and sat down. He gave a small nod. 

"It's what I gave you. Many demons what it. Never give it to anyone but me." Naraku said. You seemed a bit shocked. 

"Y-You letting me hold it for you? But I'm a human." You said. He then smiled. 

"A human that can hide the presence of it. I only wish to protect it and with that, I will protect you." Naraku said. You have never been told that someone would protect you other then family. You smiled. 

"I would be honored to help you, Lord Naraku." You said happily.
