Karma POV

I wake up the next morning at 8 with my phone ring. I don't  even check who's calling so early, I answer it half asleep.

"What do you want?!" I yell into it

"Damn Sis, that how you answer your phone? No wonder why your single" Andrew, my brother said

"F*ck you Andrew, It's early in the morning. yo know that I'm not a morning person. What's up?"

Andrew and I are always teasing and joking with each other. We were each other's best friends growing up. We would get into so much trouble that he became my partner in crime.

"Well, Excuse me for calling you. I mean, if you are going to be a b*tch, I can just hang up"

"Okay. That would actually be great. I'll be going back to sleep"

"Karma wait. For real, I couldn't wait. When we see each other later today we are hanging out might get into some trouble, you never know" I could tell he had a smirk on his face

"Ohhh, cant wait. Wait. Aren't you at work now?"

"Yes I am baby sis. I better go since boss is giving me death glares. If I don't make it to dads, you'll know who killed me. love ya!"

"You are so dumb. I'll make sure to make posters of you. Rest In Peace bro. Love ya too!" I hang up the phone and roll back asleep for more hours of sleep before getting up to head in the shower. I leave my hair to dry on it's own as I look for clothes

Checking myself out in the mirror, I grab my phone, phone charger, purse and keys. I head out to walk to the hospital to visit my mum.

Once getting to the hospitial I sign in and walk to the room my mum is in. Knocking on the door I hear my mum yell out to come in.

"Hija! It's good to see you. Come in" she says giving me a huge hug

"Hey Mum, I missed you"

"Come sit, sit. Tell me what's been happening in the last few days"

I tell my mm everything. From the party, to Dominic, about Aiden, the date with Frankie and what's been going on at work.

"Wow Hija, you sure been busy. So Frankie huh? What does he look like. Have a picture? Any grand babies in the future? When's you next date? What day are you going out with Aiden?"

"Mum, you need to slow down on these questions"

"Hey, I live through you. I'm stuck within these four walls with nothing else better to do. Now answer your poor mum"

"Frankie was so cute and sweet on your date, here" I show my mum a picture of him

"Hmm. If only I was your age Hija, I would snatch him up"

"Mum!"

"I'm only saying. Continue"

"Not sure when our next date is. M date with Aiden is tomorrow and you know that I'm not popping out babies just for the fun of it. Right?"

"Yeah yeah I know. You're 31 Hija. I just want grand babies to spoil"

"I know mum. Now how have you been? How's the treatments going?"

"Same as before. I think I'm making progress, I still get tired after them though"

"You need to take it easy"

"Easy? What is this word 'easy' you say?

I laugh at my mums weird behavior and continue talking to mum for a while playing dominos. When I notice her getting sleepy, I say my goodbye to her and give her a kiss before walking out.
