Chapter 10

Karma POV

The next morning I wake up and get ready for work. I know that I have a long and busy day ahead of me, though I keep thinking about the date with Asian later on in the Evening. I keep looking at the clock for me to check out and go home. Finally when my time is up, I quickly get out of the hospital, almost running down the street to get home for me to shower and get ready for the date.

Once getting dressed in a ——. I pull my hair up into —— and do a nude make up look. Once checking myself out and looking at the clock, I head out to meet in front of the restaurant down the street. Turning the corner I see Aiden waiting with Pink roses.

"Wow. You look... absolutely beautiful' was the first words that came out of his mouth.

I blush. "Thank you Aiden, Not so bad yourself"

"You ready to go?"

"Yes, lead the way"

A short walk down the street and pull into a different restaurant

"Reservation under Aiden"

Walking to our seats, I start the conversation.

"This place looks fancy. The food menu looks great"

"Yes, only the best for you. What are you thinking of getting?"

"I'm thinking I should get the BBQ Burger and fries. It sounds good. What are you getting?"

"The Chicken with Potato's and Veggies"

We both order, so waiting on the food we both start a conversation.

"Karma, are you more of an indoors or an outdoors person?"

"I honestly think I'd of both. I like outdoors, though please, no camping, hiking, rock climbing or fishing. I'm not into that. What 'bout you??"

"I'm really the same way"

"What about movies. What kind of movies do you like?"

"Easy. Action, comedy and some horror. How about you?"

"I like those but I also like girly movies and also drama movies"

"Night owl or Morning bird?"

Middle of the sentence  our food arrived. We both we say ' Thank You ' before returning to our conversation.

"Night. Definitely a Night owl. I hate morning and always in the 'don't talk to me' mood. At work though I have to get into that 'happy' mode. What about you?"

"I'm also a Night person"

The conversation flowed after the first few. We try each other's foods. I'm going to be honest and say that his was so much better because it was.

"Among your friends, what are you known for?" Aiden asks

"The sarcastic and funny one. You?"

"The guy who can bring the party and laughs"

"Good thing we got that in common"

After finishing out new and Aiden paying, he takes us to a store and buys chocolate covered strawberries. Walking out, we head to a cute little area in the park.

"This place is very cute. How did you find this place?" I asked looking around

"My mum used to take here a lot. Said it was her think spot"

"Awww. That's so cute... wait. Was?"

"Yeah. She died instantly in a horrible car crash years ago" he said looking at the ground

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry" I wrap my arms around his waist. He is startled but soon wraps his arms around me in a protective matter. He let's go but holds my hand and he leads me over to a bench we're be both sit down. I sit down facing him in Indiana style. He sets out the chocolate covered strawberries.

"Thank you Karma. It's okay though. I mean, that's life right? She taught me a lot. Would you like a strawberry?"

"Yes please"

Aiden grabs a strawberry and feeds it to me. I ate a bite but the juice runs down, wiping it off my chin, Aiden eats the other part of the chocolate covered strawberry.

"That is actually so good" I moan

"Definitely is"

Aiden feeds me another strawberry while I'm smiling thinking how sweet he is being. That thought is out of my head when I realise he is probably used this in girls before. While thinking about this, Aiden lays down with his head on my lap.

"I like this position" he smiles his million dollar smile

"Bet you do. So, you going to tell me about you and Dom?" I ask with raised eyebrows

"I promised I would tell you another time. Okay, I'll give you the short version. I e were very close. We grew up together. He found out something... uh.... not so great about me"

He paused hoping you don't push him about the bad thing.

"It's okay. Whenever you're ready you can tell me"

I start wondering what this something bad is. It had to be what Dominick keeps saying Aiden is bad and stay away.

"Well, we got into a big fight about it. Only to find out he was mad that I was better than him. He was jealous, so jealous that he slept with my girlfriend at the time. That broke me. I told them they are both dead to me. I didn't know you were dating him"

"Wow. That's so low. At least you know who she was before you went further with her. As far as Dom, that's f*cked up. I'm sorry he did that"

I pause when he looks into my eyes before speaking again

"I was dumb to be with Dominic. I feel like he wants me back but I'm over him. It took me forever but I am. He is really f*cked me up inside"

"You're Story Karma. Just honk about it. After all that you're still standing and became strong"

Curse him and his words. Now I'm blushing with a massive smile on my face.

"You look beautiful smiling"

Aiden sits up to look into my eyes before looking down and back up to my eyes. He leads into me where he pauses before kissing me. Of course I would kiss him back. When neither of us break the kids, my mind starts telling me to stop. He probably uses that sob story to get into girls pants. I need to be in control. I break the kiss before it goes any farther.

"Wow" he breaths out

"Wow indeed"

He wraps me in his arms as I lean against his chest. He moves me hair off the the side to see my face better.

"I could stay like this forever" he whispers

"So can I.
