Chapter Five- Agian?!

After my mom texted me, we played a few more games. Soon, we got tired and set up camp in the living room, and watched Monster's Inc.

Lanee fell asleep leaning on Caleb, and Caleb fell asleep with his arm around Lanee. I took about forty pictures.

Around 1:00 AM, I started to drift in and out of conscience. finally, I fell into a deep sleep and had a nightmare.

I was sitting in a room, on a chair. Bad idea, my brain said. SOUND THE ALARMS! I tried to get up, but I couldn't move. The room started to get dark, and spiders filled the walls. I screamed and screamed, but no one came. No one could here me.

I felt my self being shaken. I yelped and my eyes snapped open. I then punched Jimmy in the face.

Yay!

"Oh god, Jimmy, are you okay?" I asked, leaning up.

"I'm fine!" he said quickly, pushing me back down. "Why were you screaming?"

I blushed. "It was a nightmare," I said, embarrassed.

"Listen... um, about earlier..."

"Jimmy-"

"I- I-" he stammered. Then, in a whisper,"I en-enjoy-joyed it."

"What?"

"I enjoyed kissing you," he said. I was pretty sure a person couldn't get any redder if they tried.

The only noise was the noise of Sully and Mike saving Boo from Mr. Suliven. My dark brown eyes met his bright blue ones, and I understood. I understood why he was so overprotective of me. Why he always watched me. Why he grew pale instead of blushing when I caught him with Lanee.

Jimmy Hughes loved me. Not Lanee. Me.

"Jimmy," I whispered.

"I-"

"Sshh," I said, our eyes still locked. He brought up his shaking fingers, and ran them through my hair. He pulled me closer, and pressed his lips on to mine again. But this time, it wasn't forced. It was better, this time. He pulled me into his lap, and I didn't resist. I don't know how long we stayed like that; minutes, hours, days, years. All I cared about was that this was my best friend. He loved me. And I loved him.

Sorry for such a short chapter, guys. I just didn't really know what to write. But I feel like this wasn't very fluffy, but it was meaty. Great sentence. Wow.
